Demystifying AI

Dear Life Alignment community,

There’s a shift many of us are feeling right now.

You may notice it in small moments a sense of pressure to keep up or a subtle unease as the pace of change continues to accelerate. With so much conversation around AI, it’s easy to feel both curious and overwhelmed at the same time.

This month, we explore that space together as Maggie has a discussion with David Pasikov. David has been a practitioner and teacher for over 30 years and was part of the very first Life Alignment teachers training. He serves as the U.S. Coordinator and is a member of the Life Alignment Steering Committee.

As you read on, allow this to be an invitation to come back to centre, to soften the pressure, and to rediscover your own capacity to meet change with awareness and trust.

David, people are talking a lot about AI right now. Some are excited by the possibilities while others are overwhelmed. What are you seeing?

Maggie, what I’m seeing is that a lot of people feel a subtle pressure around AI right now.

You hear about it and see others using it, and something in you tightens. You wonder if you’re falling behind.

At the same time, there are conversations about jobs changing or being replaced, and it raises a deeper question: Where do I fit in all of this?

You’re not even sure what you’re supposed to be doing with it, only that, somehow, you should be doing something. Or perhaps you’re already using it, but with a quiet sense that you could be using it more effectively. That subtle pressure, that sense of needing to catch up is where this conversation begins.

We’re living in a time where change is no longer gradual. It’s constant, accelerated, and increasingly shaped by technology. You may already feel this in small ways – the pace of information, the sense that things are shifting faster than you can process.

Artificial intelligence brings this into sharper focus. Tasks that once took hours now take minutes. New tools appear almost daily. For some, this feels exciting. For others, unsettling. And for many, it’s both.

What I’m noticing around these warp-speed changes in technology is not just stress, but a kind of deeper unsettledness. Even when things are going relatively well, there’s often a sense that something is shifting. Life feels less predictable, and it’s harder to find steady footing.

The question isn’t just what’s changing around you; it’s how you’re meeting that change.

Why does something like AI feel so unsettling for so many people?

You can have a day where many things go well, and then one moment stays with you. A comment. A concern. A question about where things are heading. And somehow, that one moment takes up more space than everything else. When that happens, it’s easy to wonder what’s wrong.

Nothing is wrong. What you’re experiencing is how your system is designed to work.

Your system was designed for survival, not comfort. That means your attention naturally leans toward what might go wrong. When something new enters the picture, like AI, that part of you becomes more active.

It scans for risk and asks:
What does this mean for me?
Where do I stand?
What might change?

This is what I refer to as the survival brain. It’s not a flaw. It’s part of how you’ve made it this far.

Every one of us alive today is a descendant of people who survived incredibly difficult conditions, including the Ice Age. But that’s only part of the story.

So if part of us reacts with stress, is there another way we can respond?

Yes. Alongside that survival response, there is another capacity.

I describe this as the adaptive brain – the part of you that learns, adjusts, and finds new ways forward.

If all we had were fear and caution, humanity would not have progressed. We survived not only because we were careful, but because we were able to adapt.

You can see the scale of that when you step back. In 1903, the Wright brothers flew 120 feet in 12 seconds. Sixty-six years later, humans landed on the moon.

That same capacity lives in you.

During times of rapid change, the survival side gets louder, pulling your attention toward uncertainty. But the adaptive part doesn’t disappear, it simply requires awareness.

So when you feel overwhelmed by something like AI, it’s not a sign that something is wrong. It’s a sign that your system is doing what it was designed to do. And within that same system is also the capacity to respond, adjust, and find your footing

Can you give a practical example of how AI can actually help rather than overwhelm?

I saw this clearly in a session this past week.

I was on Zoom with a client who was stressed. Her 90-year-old father lives about 1,500 miles away, and she needed to find a backup assisted living facility in another state.

A typical search would have given her a long list of websites to sort through.

I asked her to wait for a minute and entered the details into AI. Within a matter of moments, I sent her ten viable options in her father’s local community, along with contact information, websites, and descriptions. What had felt overwhelming became something she could work with.

This is one example of how AI can support clarity rather than add to the noise.

I’ve also been using AI to work with recordings of Jeff’s FREE biweekly Chats on Zoom – converting audio into text, identifying speakers, and generating summaries.

This is starting to take shape as a curated, searchable library of his teachings – growing beyond the Chats to include his workshops and classes, with the intention of making them more accessible to the Life Alignment community and to those who will carry this work forward.

Without AI, this would be an overwhelming task. With it, I can do this work in the small pockets of time I have available.

In both cases, AI isn’t replacing thinking or discernment. It’s supporting them.

When someone feels overwhelmed in the moment, what can they actually do?

When things feel overwhelming, it helps to begin with something simple.

Pause and notice what is happening. You might say, “Something in me is activated right now,” or “I’m feeling overwhelmed.” That alone can create space.

A quick reset is to notice where you’re holding tension and give it a number from one to ten. Then slowly count down from twenty to zero.

The counting steadies your attention and can reduce intensity. When you’re done, check in again and notice whether the level has shifted.

Then come back into your body – notice your breath or your feet on the ground. Slowing your breathing, even slightly, signals that you are safe.

From there, ask yourself: What actually matters right now?

You don’t have to solve everything. One or two priorities and a small step can restore direction.

When reflecting on your emotions, it can be valuable to sense whether a resistance to or fear of change may be contributing to any feelings of unease. In such cases, I recommend receiving a Life Alignment Balance with a practitioner, either in person or on Zoom. This allows you to use what is coming into awareness as an opportunity to work with a structured, systematic approach that addresses the root of the imbalance, such as past experiences, self-confidence, or deeper patterns, rather than focusing only on the surface reaction to change.

Whenever we feel triggered, there is often a gift within it. By exploring what may need to be unblocked within our system, we support the nervous system in finding greater ease and strengthen our capacity for self-regulation.

These same principles sit behind the Vortex work many of you know – supporting your system in settling down so a clearer response can emerge.

This is something Life Alignment has recently made more widely available through the Vortex Energetics one-day workshop, where people can learn to use these tools in a very practical way, like a first-aid kit for moments when things feel off.

It doesn’t require prior experience and can be learned relatively quickly. The value is that it gives you something you can use in your daily life. When you feel scattered, you have a way to reset. When you feel overwhelmed, you have a way to come back to center.

That shift creates the space to relate to whatever’s in front of you more clearly.

How should people think about AI so it doesn’t add more pressure?

The challenge isn’t the technology. It’s how you relate to it.

If you approach AI from urgency, comparison, or fear of falling behind, it amplifies those feelings. From a grounded place, it becomes something different – a tool, a support, a thinking partner, not something that replaces your judgment, but something that helps you organize your thinking and move forward more effectively.

This is what I mean by using AI as a thinking partner, not a decision-maker. And this is where the adaptive brain comes online – through awareness and intentional use.

What would you want people to take away from all of this?

Nothing is wrong with you if you feel unsettled during times like these. Your system is doing what it was designed to do, and you are not limited to that reaction.

Within you is the capacity to pause, become aware, and respond in a more grounded way – one small, steady step at a time.

Thank you, David. This has been very helpful.

For those who would like to hear more about David’s perspective on AI and how it can be used in a practical way as a holistic practitioner, he will be offering the workshop below. Enjoy exploring this theme and take it one step at a time.

Please note that this interview is intended to share practical insights and David’s personal perspective on a topic that is currently on many people’s minds. It is not focused on the energetic or spiritual dimensions of AI, nor is it intended to promote a particular opinion.

VORTEX CARD OF THE MONTH

WIFI Protection Card (EMF Protection)

The Mobile Phone Protection card is based on the understanding that our interaction with technology also affects our energy.

As devices and connectivity become part of daily life, this card supports a more harmonious relationship with electromagnetic fields. It is designed to work with radiation from mobile phones, routers, and wireless devices, helping to bring these influences into greater coherence with the human energy system.

Studies using the Biofield Viewer, aura photography, and applied kinesiology indicate that a phone used with the card may support the body energetically rather than weaken it.

PLACEMENT:

Place the card on the back of your phone or inside the case.

When positioned on the front door of a space, it may also support the harmonisation of external electromagnetic influences, contributing to a more stable environment for the whole space.

Vital Food, Vital Life

Food is often reduced to calories, nutrients, and trends. Yet for those working with awareness and energy, a deeper question begins to emerge: What are we really taking in and how does it affect the way we feel, think, and live?

Alberto Prudente, founder of Pangea Food and advanced Life Alignment practitioner based in Italy, has spent his life exploring this question. His journey moves from traditional baking into a more conscious relationship with food, one that invites us to reconsider not only what we eat, but how we nourish ourselves on every level.

Alberto, your journey with food began very early in life. Can you take us back to those first experiences, and how they shaped your relationship with food today?

My passion for food began in my family. As a child, I would help my father in the bakery, at first as a game, simply enjoying the experience of touching the ingredients with my hands.

Every morning before school, I would stop by the lab to greet my parents, carrying with me the smell of freshly baked bread or the taste of warm pizza for breakfast. These moments stayed with me.

As I grew older, I studied baking and confectionery, and gradually immersed myself more deeply in the world of cooking and catering. Over time, I became aware of the responsibility we have as chefs in nourishing people.

What fascinated me most was the life that manifests in food itself, especially through leavening and fermentation. This sparked a deeper curiosity about the relationship between human beings and nutrition.

At some point, your path shifted from simply working with food to questioning its deeper meaning. What led you into that exploration?

Pangea was born after years of inner searching and a desire to express myself through my work in a way that serves the community, animals, and the planet.

I wanted my work to reflect something more than production. I wanted it to contribute to wellbeing, not only physically, but in a wider sense.

Was there a moment when you realised that something in your relationship with food, or your work, needed to change?

Yes, there was a period where things became very clear.

I was suffering from persistent dermatitis on my hands. It became so limiting that it affected not only my work, but also how I felt about myself and my future.

At the same time, I was working in environments that were very intense and stressful. I began to feel that something was not aligned anymore, neither in my body nor in the way I was working.

What helped you shift out of that period?

“By chance,” as they say. But in truth, I was already searching for a path that could help me find my direction.

I came across Life Alignment, and after the Foundation Course I left with a new level of awareness. It gave me a framework to understand what I was experiencing, both physically and energetically. I began to understand what my hands were communicating, how I truly wanted to use them in my work, and how to support their healing.

This shift was not only physical. It changed how I listened to my body and how I related to my work.

Today, you speak about food as something that goes beyond physical nutrition. How do you understand nourishment on a deeper level?

I once read a quote that stayed with me: “The human being is a walking digestive system.”

It is easy to think that assimilation only happens at the table. Yet I have learned that everything nourishes us. A thought, an environment, a person, a painting, or a song can all be forms of nourishment.

This is where it becomes relevant for everyday life. The same discernment we apply to food can be applied to everything we allow into our system.

The challenge we face each day is to develop the awareness and strength to discern what supports us and what does not. Just as our gut absorbs what is useful and eliminates what is harmful, we are invited to do the same in life.

Food carries memories. It carries the imprint of those who grew it, handled it, and prepared it. It is a gift from the Earth. It does not truly belong to us, and therefore it deserves care and respect throughout every stage.

To be present with what we are eating, aware of what is on our plate and how it nourishes us, is already a profound step.

At what point did energy and frequency enter your understanding of food?

My first meeting with Dr. Jeff Levin was a turning point. It opened a new perspective and led me to ask how Vortex Technology could be applied within the food industry.

One of the key aspects is addressing the impact of electromagnetic fields and geopathic stress on farms and crop fields.

We are able to measure the vitality of food. For me, enhancing food means maintaining and supporting its highest vibrational quality, so that it can truly be considered “vital food.”

In simple terms, the same ingredient, grown or prepared under different energetic conditions, can affect how we feel after eating it. More clarity, better digestion, and a sense of lightness are often reported. For many, it is the difference between feeling heavy after a meal and feeling energised, clear, and present.

What does Vortex Technology actually do to the food you work with?

It works on preserving and restoring the natural balance and vitality of the food.

When applied to water, ingredients, or the environment in which food is prepared, it helps to reduce energetic disturbances and supports a more coherent structure.

This can be observed in different ways. For example, fermentation becomes more stable and active, and the final product feels lighter and easier to digest.

It is not about changing the food into something else, but about supporting it to express its original quality more fully.

How does this understanding influence the way you work with food today?

I have learned to approach the entire process as a form of meditation, from selecting ingredients to the moment the meal is complete.

It may sound simple, yet how often do we truly eat calmly, or remain present in what we are doing in the kitchen?

The foundation begins with conscious choices: seasonal ingredients, appropriate cooking methods, avoiding refined sugars and flours, and limiting processed fats and oils. I tend to favour a vegetarian or vegan approach, with organic sourcing wherever possible.

The use of Vortex Technology adds another dimension. It offers protection and energetic clarity that is not yet widely considered within the food industry, and helps maintain the vitality of the food throughout the process.

What tangible differences have you observed when food is prepared in this more conscious way?

Kitchen environments are often highly stressful. I stepped away from haute cuisine because of the intense pressure and emotional strain it creates. At a certain point, I realised that this way of working was not aligned with the kind of energy I wanted to bring into food.

When I began using the Vortex Cards in a restaurant setting, I noticed a clear shift. The atmosphere became calmer, more cooperative, and more harmonious among colleagues.

In my family’s bakery, I started applying the cards to water, ingredients, and the final products. The feedback was very positive. People reported improved digestibility and a noticeable difference in taste, especially those who usually struggle with gluten.

I also observed a more active and balanced fermentation process, which confirmed for me that something real was happening at a deeper level.

For someone who wants to improve their wellbeing, where would you suggest they begin?

From my perspective, food is the starting point.

Raising vitality begins with removing what does not support us. A very practical first step is simply to become aware of what we place in our shopping cart.

This is where change becomes tangible. Many people notice that even small shifts in what they eat begin to influence their mood, their energy, and the way they respond to life. When you begin to choose differently, even in small ways, you start to feel the difference in your clarity and overall wellbeing.

Learning to say no to certain foods can create a powerful ripple effect. It goes beyond trends or habits and becomes an act of self-respect.

From there, we can begin to build upwards, increasing our energy and raising our frequency in a more sustainable way.

Pangea Food reflects a broader vision. What are you hoping to inspire through this work?

Pangea represents a return to the essential elements of nature in nutrition.

Since 2014, when I began changing my direction in both work and diet, I have been guided by the intention to raise my own frequency and live in greater alignment.

Today, we see many challenges related to food. These affect not only the body, but also emotions and the spirit.

Pangea aims to inspire people to take part in restoring balance, both within themselves and on the planet, through the way they relate to food. It offers tools that support personal and professional evolution.

Looking ahead, how do you see this work evolving?

I see strong potential for projects like Pangea to collaborate with food companies, helping to assess and certify the vitality of food.

Life Alignment practitioners can play an important role here, working directly with companies and applying Vortex Technology to support this process.

There are many possibilities. Pangea is open to people who feel a genuine passion for food and who wish to explore new ideas, projects, and collaborations.

Whether this is through working with companies, creating conscious food experiences, or developing new projects, the invitation is there to be part of a more aware and responsible way of nourishing ourselves and the planet.

For those already working with awareness and energy, this opens a new dimension. Food becomes not only nourishment, but a practical and accessible way to support alignment in everyday life.

Thank you, Alberto, for sharing your journey, your insight, and your dedication to bringing more awareness into the way we relate to food and how Vortex technology and Life Alignment helps you to facilitate this vision. Your work is a beautiful example of how practical, everyday choices can become a path of alignment, both for ourselves and for the wider world.

Beyond the Comfort Zone: Journey into Alignment

What moves someone to travel across continents for inner work? What shifts when personal transformation unfolds on African soil, within an international circle committed to awareness and responsibility?

We spoke with Lorena Simoncini about her experience of the Life Alignment retreat in South Africa. Her reflections are personal, grounded, and quietly powerful, offering insight into how individual alignment naturally becomes part of something much larger.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Silvia Martinetti, Advanced Teacher in Italy, for your generous and ongoing translation support in service to the Italian Life Alignment community, and for helping make this journey – in tune with the beat of creation – truly possible for Lorena.

Maggie: Lorena, what inspired you to join the retreat in South Africa?

For months I had been participating in online meetings and community chats. I felt deeply connected to the teaching and to the international Life Alignment community. Through the screen I had encountered Jeff’s presence, the energy of the work, and the sincerity of the people involved.

And yet, at a certain point, something inside me began to mature.

It was not dissatisfaction. It was more like an inner ripening. I realised that I no longer wanted to experience this only virtually and isolated from the international community. I wanted to meet people face to face. To look into their eyes. To share physical space, silence, laughter, pain and meals. To breathe the same air.

At the same time, there was a very human hesitation. My English is not fluent, and for a long time this insecurity held me back. I often felt that language was a wall between me and a deeper participation in the international field.

When translation support became available for the retreat – thank you Silvia! – something in me responded immediately. It was almost physical. I felt a clear yes.

That yes was not impulsive. It carried both courage and trust. Trust that I would be supported, not only linguistically but also practically, in organising the journey from Italy to South Africa.

Looking back, that yes was already part of my process. It was a step beyond my perceived limits. The beginning of a big balance. A first return toward something essential within me. Toward my inner roots.

For someone who is new to Life Alignment, how would you describe what it actually is?

Life Alignment is difficult to explain purely with words, because it is something you experience in your body and in your daily life.

For me, life itself is an inner journey. What shapes us most is not only what happens externally, but what we carry inside, often unconsciously. Our inherited beliefs, emotional memories, unresolved experiences. These quietly influence how we relate, how we choose, how we react.

Life Alignment offers a structured and grounded way to work with this inner landscape.

In this case, through a group balancing processes, specific themes come to light. For the individual and the group. Patterns become visible. You begin to understand where you are not fully aligned with your deeper truth.

What I appreciate deeply is that it is not something done to you. You are present. You participate. You take responsibility. The practitioner or facilitator supports, but you remain at the center of your own transformation.

I often describe it as receiving keys. Keys that open inner rooms that have been closed for a long time. In those rooms there may be old stories, ancestral imprints, emotional residues. When these are acknowledged and released, something becomes lighter. Energy becomes available again.

And this is not abstract. It changes how you live. You communicate differently. You make decisions with more clarity. You react less automatically.

From my experience, personal alignment naturally influences the collective. When one person becomes more coherent, their environment shifts as well. Families, friendships, workplaces – everything aligns to impact.

So individual healing is never only individual.

What was it like to experience this work in South Africa?

South Africa touched me deeply.

It is not just a country. There is something in the land. A depth. A memory. A sense of ancestral presence.

I arrived with mixed feelings. Excitement and gratitude, yes. But also fear. Traveling so far from home. Facing my inner themes in a different continent. Stepping outside what was familiar.

Yet from the first days, I felt welcomed in a very quiet but powerful way.

The landscape itself felt like part of the process. The vast sky, the strong earth, the rough ocean, the mountains. Especially the mountains.

Standing before them, I felt a perfect alchemy between stability and expansion. They were solid, rooted, ancient. And at the same time, open, vast, almost infinite.

They reminded me that grounding does not mean limitation. It means having a stable base from which to expand.

Experiencing Life Alignment in that environment added another layer to the balances. It felt as if the land itself was holding space. As if the earth was participating in the realignment. I heard this experience from several other participants as well. It’s indeed a country aligned to the rhythm of creation.

That may sound poetic, but it was a very physical sensation. I felt the ground under my feet differently. I felt my body more present.

Was there a particular moment during the retreat that marked you?

Yes. During my first personal balance (I was the first priority person coincidently), a theme emerged very clearly: to embrace life fully on this earth and to root myself more deeply in my own existence.

Those words went straight into me.

I realised that, without consciously deciding it, I had often kept a slight distance from life. Observing, thinking, analysing. Not fully inhabiting.

In that moment, grounding revealed itself in a completely new way. Not as heaviness. Not as obligation. But as presence.

I felt the earth beneath my feet. I felt my heartbeat in my chest. I noticed my breath becoming fuller.

It was such a YES to this life. Not an ideal life. Not a future version of myself. This life, here, now.

That insight changed something subtle but essential. Since returning home to Italy, I notice that I am more present in simple moments. More embodied. More willing to stay with what is.

What surprised you most about the retreat?

The sense of familiarity.

After traveling across continents, I expected at least some initial distance. Some cultural difference that would take time to bridge.

Instead, from the first days, there was natural connection among the participants.

We came from different countries, spoke different languages, had different professional backgrounds and life stories. And yet there was immediate recognition.

There was no need to perform. No need to explain ourselves excessively. The bridges were already there.

I have participated in group work for many years. But I had never experienced such an immediate sense of belonging.

It felt like remembering each other beyond our biographies. Beyond language.

In a place geographically far from home, I felt deeply at home.

How did being part of an international community influence your experience?

It expanded my perspective significantly.

Listening to different languages during the retreat was beautiful. Each language carries a different rhythm. A different color. Seeing how Life Alignment is integrated into various cultural contexts broadened my understanding of its universality.

At the same time, I did not feel small within that international field. On the contrary, I felt empowered.

Even my fear around language softened. I realised that when there is authentic connection, communication finds its way. The heart communicates beyond grammar.

Traveling with someone from Italy to South Africa and back also created a sense of support and companionship. I felt accompanied, not only logistically but humanly.

This experience showed me that expansion is not only geographical. It is internal.

When individuals from different parts of the world gather for sincere inner work, something larger is served. Each of us returns home carrying that shared resonance.

In that sense, global healing does not begin with big declarations. It begins with individuals who choose to align more deeply with themselves and then live differently in their daily environments.

Did anything continue unfolding after the retreat ended?

Yes.

Remaining open after the retreat allowed meaningful encounters beyond the official program. One of the most significant was meeting a local sangoma, a traditional healer.

Our encounter felt like ancient recognition. It is difficult to explain rationally. We did not need many words. There was a sense of shared presence, of something older connecting us.

When it was time to leave South Africa, I experienced something unexpected. Not simply the sadness of a retreat ending, but a deep longing.

It felt as if I was leaving a place that belonged to me. Or perhaps a place to which I belong.

That feeling remains with me. It influences how I relate to my own roots and to humanity as a whole.

Finally, what would you say to someone who feels called to reconnect more deeply with themselves but hesitates?

Inside each of us there are two voices.

One voice seeks safety. It prefers what is known and predictable. It protects us.

The other voice is quieter but persistent. It senses that there is more depth available. More authenticity. More life.

My invitation would be to listen gently to that second voice. Not by denying fear, but by acknowledging it and taking one conscious step at a time.

Life Alignment offers structure and support for this process. It does not promise perfection. It invites responsibility and presence.

Every step beyond the comfort zone reveals something valuable. Every moment of alignment influences how we show up in the world.

For me, traveling to South Africa was not an escape. It was a return.

A return to grounding. To presence. To my inner roots.

And from that grounded place, contributing to the wider world feels natural. Quiet. Real.

This is how personal alignment becomes part of global healing. One sincere yes at a time.

Thank you, Lorena, for your honesty, courage, and the depth with which you shared your journey.

Your experience beautifully reflects the essence of this work — personal, grounded, and quietly transformative. Thank you for saying yes, for stepping beyond your limits, and for contributing your presence to our international community.

The Science of Rejuvenation: Returning to the Body’s Original Blueprint of Light

Dear Life Alignment community.

In this month’s newsletter, our advanced practitioner Angelika Anagnostou, based in India, explores rejuvenation beyond trends and external solutions, approaching it as a conscious return to the body’s original state of balance and vitality. As science begins to meet ancient wisdom, new perspectives are emerging on ageing, health, and the innate intelligence of the human body.

Angelika invites us to question inherited beliefs about ageing and to reconnect with the body’s natural capacity for renewal through awareness, self-responsibility, and inner alignment.

Times of Profound Change

We are living in a time in which humanity is undergoing profound changes in consciousness and structure. Extraordinary times, where advancements in science finally meet ancient teachings. New doors of perception are opening. As a species, we are slowly becoming aware of our tremendous power, beginning to understand our true nature as energy beings that exist far beyond our physicality.

Within this field of expanding human consciousness, it is not surprising that rejuvenation, longevity, and the preservation of the human body are coming increasingly into focus. Life Alignment has been marrying ancient wisdom, nervous system regulation, and quantum principles since its inception in 1990. It has been a pioneer in working with light, the body’s innate intelligence, and realms beyond logic, entering the field that connects all things: energy medicine.

At the same time, modern “New Age” spirituality has flooded social media. Endless tips, videos, advertisements, and information about biohacking, supplements, face yoga, peptides, and optimisation techniques dominate our screens. Rejuvenation has become a central theme of the emerging human identity. It is a field I have been sitting with for quite some time. Knowing from a young age that this was my calling, I began to dig deeply beneath the surface.

My Path into Rejuvenation Work

Before continuing, a little background may help put my perspective into context. My name is Angelika Anagnostou. I have always been fascinated by the unseen and by spirituality in its many forms. From yoga to shamanic healing, hypnosis, psychic development, and channeling, my path was rich and diverse. Yet it was through Life Alignment that I finally found my home. It arrived magically in my life in 2015 during a visit to South Africa. I knew immediately that this was the missing key, the foundation I needed to fully embark on my research into body rejuvenation and regeneration.

When working with clients or simply observing people around me I already had started questioning the notion of age and its validity, specifically the markers that we attach to different age groups and their characteristics. Our expectations and consensus clearly seemed to create and perpetuate the very thing we would like to avoid and succumb to the specific time-related changes that we expect to happen to our body. And here are the key words: EXPECTATION and BELIEF.

If we are consciousness and energy, and we are really that powerful, do we create and accelerate our biological demise? And without questioning do we maintain a state where longevity, radiant health and rejuvenation remain the dream rather than the reality? Do our own emotions, ancestral patterns and beliefs influence our well-being and life-span beyond what we imagine? Through my work with the Life Alignment technique on numerous clients and myself, here are some insights on the science of rejuvenation.

Self-Responsibility and Listening to the Body

Through my work with the Life Alignment technique, both with clients and myself, several insights into the science of rejuvenation have become clear. The journey of regeneration always begins with self-love. Every cell listens to our inner voice — our thoughts and emotions literally program our biology. When we speak harshly to ourselves, vitality leaks away; when we speak with love, the body gets revitalised and blooms in response.

Healing occurs through the simple, sacred act of choosing – as some of us well know from the “emotional release” of taught in foundation course of Life Alignment and a simple but powerful first aid process for everyone at home:

I feel.

I choose.

I release.

I receive.

We are the creator of our own health, vitality and beauty. The body is a mirror of our consciousness — what we believe and speak, we become.

The denial of our true needs has become normalised in modern life. Chronic stress, constant information overload, and the expectation to remain alert around the clock deplete life force, weaken immunity, and shorten lifespan. Rejuvenation requires listening again to what the body truly needs: rest, nourishment, sunlight, nature, stillness, and balanced movement.

During Life Alignment sessions, space is created for the mind to quieten, allowing the body to finally be felt and heard. As guilt and subconscious patterns around self-sacrifice are released, the nervous system can return to safety. From this place, life force begins to rebuild the body.

Mind, DNA, and the Blueprint of Light

One of the greatest blocks to rejuvenation is disbelief in our own creative power. The body’s decline often mirrors the mind’s fear. Every fear-based thought about ageing becomes an instruction the cells follow.

Science is now catching up with ancient wisdom. Our molecular structure responds to consciousness. Our bodies, made largely of water, respond directly to thought, emotion, and belief. When beliefs change, biology follows.

The pineal gland, DNA, and stem cells are living receivers of intelligence. Old commands such as “it’s too late” or “I’m getting old” are literal instructions until consciously rewritten. Through intention, frequency, and awareness, the original template of balance and vitality can be reinstated.

Every cell holds the memory of perfect health. Rejuvenation is not about adding something new, but about remembering what already exists. When fear dissolves and presence returns, the body becomes receptive to renewal beyond time.

The Essence of True Rejuvenation

At our core, we are made of light. Stress, guilt, and unresolved trauma create density within the system, often referred to as the pain body. Through release and awareness, we return to our original frequency.

Rejuvenation is not a rebellion against nature. It is a return to divine order. It unfolds naturally when the mind allows possibility, fear and guilt are released, and we remember ourselves as consciousness embodied.

We are not meant to decay. We are meant to evolve. To live as luminous, self-healing beings of love and higher intelligence. Rejuvenation is our birthright. It is the natural state of a consciousness that remembers it is eternal.

Thank you, dear Angelika, for your commitment, your depth, and the devotion you bring to this work. Your journey, your research, and your lived experience shine through every word, reminding us of the body’s innate wisdom and its capacity to renew when met with awareness and care. We are deeply grateful for your contribution to the Life Alignment community and for the inspiration you so generously share.

VORTEX CARD OF THE MONTH

Radiance Card Set

The Radiance Set consists of three cards used in a triangular formation, creating a tetrahedron energy field and a coherent Vortex of energy flowing from Card 1 to Card 2 to Card 3.

The Radiance Cards support bringing more light into the body while expanding our perception of ourselves as energetic structures. Depending on what is needed, the field can activate depleted areas or calm an overactive system, gently bringing to the surface what is ready to shift.

Used together with the Rainbow Card, the Radiance Set supports rebalancing and restructuring on both physical and energetic levels. Experiences also suggest it may support alertness and reduce fatigue when placed in the energetic field of a vehicle.

In the context of this month’s newsletter, the Radiance Set offers a simple, practical way to work with light, awareness, and energetic coherence in everyday life.

The Invisible Architecture of Care

Dear Life Alignment Community,

In this edition, we introduce the work of Monnalisa Marcacci, an advanced Life Alignment teacher who has taught alongside Valter Celestial in Italy for more than twenty years. A holistic nurse by training, she has spent her career exploring the subtle dimensions that shape the human experience of care. Her new book gives language and structure to what many caregivers perceive intuitively yet cannot name: the energetic architecture that underlies presence, relationship, and healing. Through her story and reflections, we explore how Life Alignment is becoming a vital bridge between clinical practice and the deeper vibrational nature of caregiving.

Maggie: Monnalisa, first of all: what drew you to holistic nursing and Life Alignment? What passion guided your path?

Monnalisa: My journey toward holistic nursing began long before my formal training, as a natural sensitivity to everything that happens beneath the surface of a human being. From a young age, I observed the body: how movement shifts when energy shifts, how an emotion alters the breath, how a thought changes the quality of a gesture. I didn’t yet have a language to describe these perceptions, but they were already there: silent traces waiting to be named.

During my early years in the hospital, that sensitivity became professional awareness. Technique is essential, but it does not exhaust the meaning of care. Each clinical gesture was accompanied by phenomena that existed outside any protocol. Tension melting when a patient feels they can trust you, fear easing in the presence of a steady caregiver, pain softening when a person feels truly seen. It became clear that care involves body, emotions, intention, thoughts, and energetic field as parts of one living system.

I searched for a language that could explain what I perceived each day, a bridge between intuition and competence. Life Alignment came to me in this way, not as a new technique, but as a coherent system capable of giving form and structure to what I had always sensed. It felt like a recognition rather than a discovery, offering a way to integrate mind, body, emotion, memory, and energy into a single, living process. From that moment on, Life Alignment became the modality through which I expressed my own gifts and allowed this brilliantly structured system to reveal its depth.

This sounds both beautiful and profound, and I believe everyone can relate when thinking back to moments in life when we were entirely in the hands of another’s care. What, then, inspired you to write the book? And when did you first recognise the energetic dimension of care?

There is one night I carry within me as a turning point. The ward was silent, and a young patient – alert yet terrified of dying – looked at me as if my presence were her only anchor. I could not change her diagnosis or shorten her wait, but I could be there. Completely. That presence shifted something: her breath changed, her tension softened, even the air felt different.

From that moment, I never stopped asking what truly happens between two human beings when one cares and the other entrusts themselves. I found no answers in manuals, yet what I perceived was undeniably real. When I later encountered Life Alignment, everything I had intuited for years finally found structure. The method gave me a code I could apply.

Writing the book became an act of giving back to nurses who perceive these subtle dimensions every day without having the language to recognise them. My vision is to teach nurses the power of connection and presence, and to show them the deeper imprint they can create, for themselves and for others. In formal nursing education, this level of training and skill development is not offered, yet from my point of view it is the most essential.

You described Life Alignment as something like “a memory resurfacing in you”: what does that mean?

Encountering Life Alignment felt like remembering something I had always known. I didn’t feel I was learning. I felt I was remembering. The concepts seemed familiar, as though they had lived within me without a language.

Life Alignment provided that grammar – a clear structure capable of giving shape to the perceptions that had guided my way of caring for years. It transformed intuition into competence, listening into intention, and wove clinical precision together with relational depth. This is why Life Alignment can serve as a meaningful and rigorous curriculum for the caregiving industry.

Please share a bit more about what is missing today in the medical–nursing paradigm? And what does Life Alignment add?

What is most lacking is space to listen, to feel, to recognise what the patient experiences internally. Medicine monitors every physiological parameter, yet what shapes the experience of care? Its fear, loneliness, emotional tension, overwhelm, uncertainty. Those aspects often remain invisible.

Life Alignment completes and complements science by offering:
• Conscious presence as a therapeutic skill.
• Energetic coherence of the practitioner, reducing emotional noise and enhancing effectiveness.
• A shared language aligned with holistic nursing and complexity sciences.

It bridges the gap between technique and relationship, integrating the measurable with the perceivable.

Listening to your words makes me feel excited and hopeful about the future and about what we, as human beings, have not yet fully mastered. Was there a specific moment when you first perceived this invisible dimension of care in a clear and tangible way?

I understood it the day I met Jeff Levin. Even before understanding the method, I sensed the quality of his presence: a coherent frequency bringing order to the space around him. It wasn’t suggestion – it was structure.

In that instant, I recognised what I had sensed for years in clinical settings: an invisible yet real dimension guiding every caring relationship.

How do you imagine the future between holistic nursing and Life Alignment?

I imagine it as a natural and necessary meeting. Nurses hold the relational field in the most fragile moments of care. Life Alignment strengthens what they already do, offering method, language, and energetic coherence.

In the future I envision: energetic coherence will be part of training; the field will be recognised as influencing safety and trust; energetic medicine will dialogue with conventional medicine; and nurses will rediscover themselves as bridges between technique and humanity.

Let’s be all part of it and make this work. For someone new to energetic medicine: where should they begin with Life Alignment?

You begin with three simple, profound experiences:
• Feeling the field – observing how the body responds to intention.
• Muscle testing – a dialogue revealing coherence or blocks.
• Priority – allowing the highest version of your Self to indicate the sequence of work.

Taking the Foundation Course of Life Alignment covers all of these basics, and it is my recommendation for everyone – whether they are in the caregiving industry , a nurse or intending to become a full-time Life Alignment practitioner. It teaches essential levels of emotional and intuitive intelligence, and we all have someone to care for and moments in life that ask for profound presence and soul based connection.

Now tell me about the broader vision: what do you hope your recently published book will bring?

I hope the book becomes a bridge between worlds that have walked in parallel for too long: science and perception, clinical evidence and the body’s wisdom, Life Alignment and the professions of care.

I hope it helps caregivers recognise that the energetic dimension is not separate from care – it is part of care.

Thank you, Monnalisa. Your insights are deeply inspiring, and I am grateful for the direction you have taken and for the immense imprint you are creating. You invite us to look beyond protocol and to recognise the profound relational field that quietly guides every therapeutic encounter. Your voice brings clarity, depth, and a vision of a future in which intuition, science, and energetic coherence work together seamlessly.

We hope this conversation encourages you to honour the invisible dimensions within your own practice and to explore how Life Alignment can enrich the way you care, lead, and live. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Monnalisa. Her book is currently available only in Italian, but the intention is to translate it and make it accessible worldwide.

VORTEX CARD OF THE MONTH

Presence Card (Centring)

Presence is a foundational quality for every human being. It supports clarity, emotional balance, and a sense of inner stability in daily life. Life Alignment and Vortex technology translate this understanding into a practical, tangible experience.

The Presence card supports coherence between body, mind, heart, and spirit, allowing presence to arise naturally rather than through effort. From this state, we relate more clearly, respond rather than react, and experience greater calm, vitality, and connection.

The card is designed to be worn on the body. Common applications include the brow for awareness and mental clarity, the heart for peace and openness, and the navel for grounding and centring.

Placed on the front door of a space, the Presence card may support a calm, coherent atmosphere for everyone who enters.

In the context of this newsletter, the Presence card reflects the invisible architecture that quietly shapes how we meet ourselves and others each day.

When Words End, Dance Begins

Dear Life Alignment Community,

We are thrilled to present an inspiring interview with Italian practitioner and dance therapist Monica Secco. When words fall short, dance begins. This truth, immortalized by visionary choreographer Pina Bausch, has accompanied Italian practitioner and dance therapist Monica Secco throughout her life. Today, Monica brings together her lifelong devotion to dance with the transformational work of Life Alignment, offering a unique path of healing that unites movement, creativity, and energy alignment.

Maggie: Monica, can you tell us about the personal journey that led you to explore both creative movement and Life Alignment?

Monica: My exploration began when I was 19, living in New York City. I discovered conscious dancing and the Tanztheater of Pina Bausch, which became a cathartic transformation for me. I realized how deeply emotions and self-expression are connected through movement. Pina Bausch once said, “When you no longer have words, dance.” That phrase has never left me.

I had always danced since childhood, but in New York I discovered its mystical and spiritual dimension. Dance became a ritual, a channel for intuition, a way for spirit to move through me. Later, I founded Artemovimento, taught, choreographed, and directed a festival for 15 years. I even won an Erasmus+ project that used dance to support young people with learning difficulties.

Parallel to this, I felt called toward higher connection and healing. Through my naturopath I discovered Life Alignment, then I found Jeff Levin’s book in a bookstore. From there I began to study deeply and consistently. Life Alignment became both a healing journey for me and a professional method that I integrated into my work with dance.

This gave birth to DanceAlignment, a three-year training program strongly supported by Jeff Levin and certified by UNESCO’s International Dance Council and AEAPRO.

How do you see the connection between the natural movement of the body and the principles of Life Alignment?

Life Alignment begins in the body, in the cells. Conscious dancing is a deep activator – it awakens processes both individually and collectively. It is ritual, and it carries us into places words cannot reach.

Neuroscience shows us how our cells and organs move. Imagine letting an organ dance – it’s extraordinary. We all live with neuronal movement patterns that sometimes get blocked. Here, there is a strong link with Life Alignment points and procedures, such as DNA activation or working with the cell membrane.

The creative dimension adds even more: when release, voice, and body join in movement, it becomes a powerful healing tool. And when combined with Life Alignment, this process is elevated – energy alignment brings clarity, speed, and depth to what dance therapy can achieve. It is like giving wings to the work, allowing the body to become both the stage and the instrument of healing.

In your work, how does conscious dancing help people access and release deep emotions or trauma?

By amplifying the listening of the body in movement. The mind steps aside and the body speaks its truth. Emotions live in the body, and conscious dancing is a universal language.

Often trauma cannot be reached by talking- it emerges through movement. Conscious dancing becomes dynamic meditation and catharsis. It is based on freedom of expression and listening, rather than rigid structures.

When aligned with Life Alignment, this process intensifies: the subtle energy work touches stored memories while the dance gives them voice. The body becomes free to release what has been locked away, and the integration happens naturally.

As you mentioned, Life Alignment often works with subtle energy and stored memories. How does this integrate with physical expression in conscious dancing?

The integration is profound. Life Alignment allows subtle energy to move freely, and dance gives it form. Spirit flows as vibration, rhythm, and movement.

In conscious dancing we use qualities such as space, rhythm, and flow – these are codes of healing. When connected with Life Alignment, these codes align with the body’s energy points, giving the process more precision and resonance.

For example, if a memory is stored in the body, Life Alignment procedures identify and release it. Conscious dancing then gives it an expressive outlet, allowing it to transform and integrate fully. The two together accelerate the journey – Life Alignment grounds the release, while dance liberates it into embodied expression.

That is so interesting! Can you share a story where combining dance therapy with Life Alignment created significant change?

Yes, the journey of Anastasia. She combined ten sessions of DanceAlignment with ten of Life Alignment. Through this work, she described a rebirth: “My body awoke to desire again. My mind began to dream. I felt strong, vital – like drinking from a fresh spring.”

When she began, she struggled with anxiety, depression, and a destructive relationship. Over time, she transformed – she left her marriage, changed work, found love, and began living with joy and empowerment.

Dance accelerated her healing, and Life Alignment anchored it. Together they gave her strength, clarity, and the courage to live differently.

Many people new to Life Alignment and emotional work struggle to express their feelings. What would you recommend to them?

For those who find it hard to express emotions in words, I suggest starting with movement. Even a simple gesture can bypass the mind and touch what is true.

In my groups, I sometimes ask people to introduce themselves with a gesture before their name. The name already carries identity and expectation; the gesture is raw and authentic. For newcomers, this is a way to access self-expression without pressure.

Conscious dancing is intuitive, anyone can do it. If words feel heavy, let the body speak. Ask yourself: “How does my heart move today? How does my liver dance?” These questions awaken curiosity, bypass resistance, and open the door to release.

And I would encourage practitioners, too, to explore movement as a language. It can be a valuable doorway for clients who struggle to access emotions verbally. But for anyone, whether client or practitioner, the first step is simply to move.

What role do you see for creative movement in self-discovery, spiritual connection, and empowerment?

Creative movement is a bridge between body and spirit. It connects us to cellular memory, intuition, and even spiritual guidance. In movement, energy channels open and we can embody what we once only sensed.

For me, conscious dancing is not just therapy, it is self-discovery, ritual, and empowerment. It gives people the courage to meet themselves honestly, to reclaim their power, and to experience themselves as creators. When combined with Life Alignment, the work goes deeper and faster. It’s like a dialogue between subtle energy and living flesh.

What first steps would you suggest for those interested in reconnecting with their body’s authentic language?

Begin with awareness. Allow your body to move freely, even at home. Dance anywhere – there is no technique required, only listening.

Write your story through movement. Notice how your posture speaks, how your body tells you who you are. DanceAlignment explores and frees this authentic body language. It is a journey into creativity, expression, and healing.

Many dance pioneers – Rudolf Laban, Isadora Duncan, and others – already saw movement as energy. Today, DanceAlignment opens that vision further, weaving creativity with Life Alignment to create a true language of transformation.

Thank you, Monica, for sharing your inspiring journey with our community. I didn’t know much about DanceAlignment before and I am fascinated how conscious dancing and Life Alignment together form a path of healing that is mystical, creative, and deeply embodied. It shows us that healing is not only about releasing pain, but also about rediscovering creativity, expansion, passion and joy.

For those curious to experience DanceAlignment, Monica offers programs through Artemovimento, her center for choreographic research in Turin, Italy.

VORTEX CARD OF THE MONTH

Breath Of Life (Meditation Enhancer)

The Breath of Life Card works on a subtle dimension of breath, inviting a deeper connection with your Higher Self and inner guidance. When placed on the body – often over the sternum and frequently combined with the Air Card – many people experience softer breathing, a calmer nervous system, and a more spacious meditative state. Monica is using the Breath of Life Card for her Dance Therapy because its frequency carries a gentle, feminine quality that supports creativity, intuition, and emotional release, making it a beautiful companion for practices like meditative dance, conscious movement or reflective inner work. Used in a room, the card uplifts the atmosphere and invites inspiration, openness and a sense of expansion. A simple tool with a profound effect, the Breath of Life Card helps reconnect breath, presence, and higher consciousness.

Mapping Our Energy: Exploring the Chakra System

In this month’s newsletter, I speak with Lara du Plessis, an Advanced Life Alignment Practitioner and Vortex Energetics Facilitator based in Cape Town. With a background in corporate and marketing, Lara has learned to balance the analytical and intuitive aspects of life — integrating the practical demands of the world with the deeper understanding of energy centers such as the chakra system. In this conversation, she shares her insights on how these energy systems influence our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Maggie: Lara, when you speak about the chakra system, how do you explain its relevance to someone completely new to the concept?

I like to describe the chakra system as an inner map of our energy – a way to understand how life force moves through us and influences every part of our being. The word chakra means “wheel” or “lotus” in Sanskrit and has been used in ancient Indian texts for over 2700 years.

Most people today recognize seven primary chakras: Energy centers that run along the spine, each linked to specific physical organs and emotional themes:

1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) – at the base of the spine, represents stability and grounding.
2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – in the lower abdomen, relates to creativity and emotional balance.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – in the upper abdomen, governs confidence and personal power.
4. Heart Chakra (Anahata) – in the center of the chest, represents love and compassion.
5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – at the throat, supports communication and self-expression.
6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – between the eyebrows, relates to intuition and insight.
7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – at the top of the head, connects us to higher consciousness.

Each chakra is like a transformer between the physical and the subtle body. When energy flows freely, we feel vibrant and balanced. When it’s blocked, we may experience stress, fatigue, or emotional tension.

I often compare the chakra system to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, which maps human development from survival to self-actualization. The stages correspond beautifully with the chakras. For example, the Crown Chakra aligns with Maslow’s concept of self-actualization or enlightenment.

It’s also important to note that there are energy centers extending beyond the physical body. The higher chakras, often referred to as the 8th to 12th chakras, are situated around and above the head. They are gateways to expanded states of consciousness and deeper connection with the soul essence. These higher chakras open awareness to the greater cosmos, our star origins, universal love, and spiritual evolution, reminding us that we are part of a vast and interconnected whole. It’s fascinating.

Fascinating indeed! Tell me, how does the Chakra system influence our physical health and emotional balance? And how does Life Alignment come into play?

Our chakras act as translators between the body and the soul. When energy flows harmoniously, it supports healthy organ function and emotional equilibrium. But when life challenges or trauma create energetic blockages, the body mirrors that imbalance through discomfort or illness.

In Life Alignment, once we identify imbalances, we use gentle techniques, intention, and the quantum infused Vortex Technology to restore flow and harmony. Additionally, we work with biofeedback through muscle testing, a pendulum or dowsing rods. Thus, the body’s intelligence leads the process and not our mind. it knows exactly what needs to be brought back into balance – much better than our mind could tell us.

The term Kundalini energy often appears in connection with the chakra system. What is the relationship between the two?

Kundalini is the dormant spiritual energy coiled at the base of the spine, in the Root Chakra. When awakened – through meditation, breathwork, energy healing and deep soul work, it rises through each chakra, activating them in turn and leading to transformation and expanded awareness.

As it moves:
– Through the Root Chakra, we feel grounded and safe.
– At the Sacral, creativity awakens and emotions deepen.
– In the Solar Plexus, self-confidence and willpower strengthen.
– Through the Heart, love and compassion expand.
– At the Throat, we express ourselves authentically.
– In the Third Eye, intuition and clarity sharpen.
– At the Crown, we experience oneness with universal consciousness.

The Kundalini journey symbolises our spiritual evolution: Each stage bringing growth, awareness, and the release of old patterns. It is not merely a physical phenomenon, but a profound spiritual process that awakens our true potential. This very principle lies also at the heart of Life Alignment.

The Life Alignment technique works with energy centers beyond the seven chakras, known as Vortex Centers. Could you explain more about them?

The Vortex Centers in Life Alignment are additional points within the energy field that, like the chakras, can be activated and carry higher frequencies. They are located in various parts of the body beyond the central midline where the main chakras reside. For example, inside the elbows, knees, or wrists. In Life Alignment, these centers are used to “spin” Vortex Cards, facilitating the release or reception of energy. The process is highly individual and technical, differing from one session to another. Similar concepts can also be found in certain advanced yoga practices.

The chakras deal mainly with human experience: survival, emotion, love, intuition, expression, and spiritual connection. The Vortex Centers, however, reach into subtler, multidimensional layers of consciousness. They connect us with our soul blueprint, our purpose, and the universal field of intelligence. As humanity evolves, these centers are becoming more active in our bodies, helping us integrate more light, coherence, and awareness. They assist in transmuting energy not just for us, but also for collective healing.

Can you explain this a bit deeper, Lara: How do the Vortex Cards support this work?

The Vortex “Cards” are energetic tools that hold specific magnetic frequencies. They work with the body’s energy field to help open, balance, and realign the chakras, Vortex Centers but also in general the energy flow of a certain body part or organ. In short: It’s all about raising the frequency.

During a Life Alignment session, we are not only spinning specific Vortex Cards but we also may place cards on the body or in certain sacred geometric patterns such as Metatron Cube or “Tree of Life” grids to support energy flow. They act like tuning forks – helping the body remember its natural state of harmony.

Combined with the body’s guidance and the practitioner’s intuition, the cards bring profound shifts on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Some processes in Life Alignment specifically focus on particular chakras, using Vortex Cards to enhance and stabilise their energy. In fact, often, when the cards are used, the entire chakra system realigns, even if that wasn’t the original focus of the session. It’s a gentle yet powerful way to bring the whole system into coherence.

That describes it well, thank you! How do you see this work contributing to deeper transformation – personally and spiritually?

The chakra system, in my view, is one of the most profound gateways to self-awareness. When we work with it through Life Alignment, unconscious patterns begin to surface — old fears, beliefs, and emotions that have shaped our reality. Once they become conscious, they can be understood, felt, and released.

Life Alignment reveals these patterns in a safe, structured way, allowing transformation to happen through awareness rather than force. As the chakras realign and life force flows freely, people naturally feel more balanced, grounded, and authentic.

On a spiritual level, this alignment expands our capacity to receive light, balance, and abundance. Many describe it as a renewed sense of connection with oneself, others, and life itself — where healing becomes less about fixing and more about remembering who we truly are.

So true. Do you have any tips or practices for working with the chakras in daily life — especially in moments when we don’t have access to Vortex technology or a full Life Alignment Balance?

Sure. Working with the chakras is a beautiful way to stay connected to our inner truth, even in challenging moments. It’s an intimate form of communication with the inner realm.

Use the chakra system as a way to tune into your body. Focus on each chakra and sense how it feels. Does the energy flow freely, or does it feel blocked, dense, or dark? Breathe into any area that feels stuck and explore the deeper meaning associated with that chakra. As awareness grows, life begins to feel more guided and harmonious. Ultimately, this practice helps us live from our essence – bringing clarity, compassion, and light into how we live, love, and contribute to the world.

There are many free guided chakra meditations on YouTube and similar platforms, as well as a wealth of information online to help you connect with and align your chakras. You can also engage through sensory experiences: attune visually by working with the colours of the chakras (for instance, the throat chakra is blue), connect with their mantras or sounds if you are more auditory, or use mudras – specific hand positions, rooted in eastern spirituality – for a physical connection. Simply focusing on each chakra like I mentioned above and visualizing the energy flowing through it can be deeply effective. Practices like yoga, dance, or any kind of mindful movement also help energy flow more freely.

Thank you, Lara, for sharing your insights. I know there is so much depth to the Chakras, and you summarized and explained this so easily and well. Your words remind us that energy healing is not something abstract, but a way of reconnecting with who we are and remembering that balance, vitality, and wisdom are already within us.

Lara’s favourite magnetic vortex card is the Rainbow Card. The rainbow has long been a symbol of hope and embodies the full spectrum of colours and frequencies of light. In Life Alignment, the Rainbow Card represents harmony, structure and wholeness, incorporating the four elements and ether energy. It is designed to balance an entire structure – a space, building such as home and office or even a whole land. Similar to the Fire Card, it emits a transforming frequency that neutralises the negative effects of electromagnetic radiation, geopathic stress, and imbalanced Feng Shui energies, converting them into light energy aligned with the human biofield.

Finding Calm Within: How the Vagus Nerve Restores Balance

Dear Life Alignment Community,

In this month’s edition, we turn our attention to the vagus nerve, often described as the body’s superhighway of calm. This vital pathway connects brain and body, regulating not only our physical health but also our emotional resilience. When balanced, it helps us return from stress to a state of clarity, calm, and vitality – a theme that resonates deeply with Life Alignment’s mission.

To guide us through this exploration, I interviewed David Pasikov who is not only an advanced Life Alignment coordinator, teacher and practitioner in the US but also an experienced psychotherapist and certified coach. With over three decades of practice, David brings both professional depth and personal insight into how the vagus nerve influences healing, transformation, and the sustainable wellbeing that Life Alignment offers.

Maggie: David, the vagus nerve is often called the body’s “superhighway of calm.” How would you explain its role and importance to someone hearing about it for the first time?

David: Let’s begin by putting this whole consideration into context, Maggie. Our survival mechanism has evolved over the millennia and comes to focus in the autonomic nervous system, which has two parts: the parasympathetic nervous system (calming) and the sympathetic nervous system (arousing). When the sympathetic system is activated, it produces what we commonly call the “fight, flight, or freeze” response. Both systems are essential for balance, and ideally they work in rhythm with one another. Life Alignment directly and indirectly supports this balance through several priorities, including Body Points. These are specific access points to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the body – among them the vagus nerve – and they help the body return to a state of calm and balance (parasympathetic dominance).

To bring this out of theory and into everyday life, picture what happens in a stressful moment behind the wheel. Imagine yourself speeding to work on a busy highway. Suddenly, a reckless driver cuts in front of you, nearly causing a collision, and throws a rude gesture out the window. Even though we are sophisticated members of the 21st century, your primal survival mechanism of “fight, flight, freeze” kicks in. You have a biological response to the threat, but since you’re hurtling down the highway, you can’t safely freeze. You might go into road rage, or take the next exit, but more often you are simply stuck in your car, stewing in stress chemicals.

Any perceived threat can trigger this same mechanism. We might be at home and receive a message to call our tax preparer, and suddenly we’re in fight, flight, or freeze, bracing for bad news. When we return the call and hear they’ve found a way to save us $500, we breathe a sigh of relief but then we still have to recalibrate from this false alarm. We commonly call an event like this being “triggered.”

If we go through a sustained period of real threats or repeated false alarms, the nervous system can stay stuck on high alert. This is called being “sympathetic nervous system dominant.” In other words, the survival mechanism and its chemicals remain in the “on” position, keeping us hypervigilant and poised to spring into action. Over time, this taxes both body and mind and can even contribute to illness. The vagus nerve plays a crucial role in helping us shift out of fight, flight, or freeze and back into peace and calm – what’s commonly called “rest and digest.”

Maggie: Interesting, please tell us more about how the vagus nerve influences both our physical health and emotional resilience, and why is it so central to regulating stress and trauma?

David: The vagus nerve is the 10th cranial nerve and the longest in the body. It starts in the brainstem and extends down to the intestines. You can think of it as a major interstate highway running through the body, with many exits connecting to vital organs such as the lungs, heart, stomach, liver, pancreas, and intestines. It’s one main route with off-ramps that carry messages back and forth between the brain and body.

The vagus nerve also acts like a built-in reset button. Physically, it slows the heart, regulates breathing, and restarts digestion after stress. It shifts us from fight, flight, or freeze back into rest and digest. Without that shift, our systems would stay revved up, which in time would wear us down and even contribute to illness.

Emotionally, the vagus nerve helps us regain balance when life throws us off course. When it’s functioning well, we can rebound more easily from stress, upset, or trauma. Instead of remaining stuck in high alert or collapse, it allows us to return to a calmer baseline where we can think clearly, connect with others, and make wise choices.

That’s why it’s so central in regulating stress and trauma. It’s not just about calming the body; it’s about restoring the inner stability that helps us meet challenges with resilience rather than being overwhelmed.

Maggie: In your work with Life Alignment, how do you see the vagus nerve connecting to the body’s natural healing and transformation processes?

David: In Life Alignment, we often talk about helping the body, the emotions, and the mind return to their natural state of balance. The vagus nerve is one of the body’s primary pathways for doing just that. When it’s activated, it signals safety: “You’re safe, you can relax now.” This shift opens the door for the body’s natural healing processes to switch back on, including digestion, immune function, tissue repair, and even the emotional integration of past stress or trauma.

What makes Life Alignment powerful is that it doesn’t just address symptoms; it helps release the underlying stress patterns or blockages that keep the nervous system locked in survival mode. As those blocks clear, the vagus nerve can function more freely, guiding us out of hypervigilance and back into calm, creating the right conditions for both healing and transformation.

Maggie: Many people look for quick fixes to manage stress. How do we in Life Alignment offer a more sustainable way of supporting vagus nerve regulation and long-term balance?

David: Quick fixes can bring temporary relief, but they rarely get to the root of the problem. Life Alignment works differently. By identifying and releasing the stress patterns that keep the nervous system stuck in survival mode, it supports the vagus nerve in doing its job naturally.

In my experience over the last 30 years, I’ve seen how Life Alignment can act like a laser beam, homing in on the root cause of what throws a person off center. Instead of just calming the surface, it helps the body reset from the inside out. This deeper clearing and realignment is what makes Life Alignment a sustainable approach to stress, rather than a short-term fix.

Maggie: Can you share how Vortex Technology interacts with the nervous system, and particularly the vagus nerve, to support wellbeing on the level of body, mind, and environment?

David: Both Life Alignment and our companion process, Vortex Technology, work with the body’s energy field, the subtle layer of information that underlies our physical and emotional experience. When that field is stressed or blocked, the nervous system often reflects that stress, leaving us in a state of tension.

In a Life Alignment session, certified practitioners use a variety of Vortex tools. These contain one or more very low-powered magnets infused with healing frequencies to support their clients’ well-being.

An exciting new course is Vortex Energetics, which introduces a simplified healing method using five core Vortex cards in specific patterns. These tools can help calm the nervous system and support the vagus nerve in guiding us back to balance and wellbeing. Certified practitioners can now train to teach this course and share it with their clients and the public.

Maggie: Thanks for bringing this up, I absolutely love this new workshop for the public. Finally, what tips and tricks can you give us – understanding and working with the vagus nerve – for people to move through life with greater clarity, calm, and vitality?

David: All of us have gone through the “school of hard knocks” and know firsthand what it feels like to be triggered and even traumatized. By supporting the vagus nerve, we help the body shift out of survival mode and back into balance. This opens the door to clearer thinking, a calmer heart, and renewed vitality, so we can meet life’s challenges with resilience rather than stress.

Here is a list of self care tools I often share with my clients to support them beyond our sessions:

  1. Massage: Gently massaging the scalp, ears, sides of the neck, or soles of the feet can access the vagus nerve directly and promote relaxation.
  2. Cold exposure: Splashing cold water on your face or taking a cold shower can stimulate the vagus nerve and reset the system.
  3. Gargling: Gargling with water, even for half a minute, stimulates the vagus nerve through the throat muscles.
  4. Humming or chanting: Because a branch of the vagus nerve runs through the vocal cords, humming or chanting can help activate it.
  5. Laughter and positive social connections: Both stimulate the vagus nerve and promote relaxation.
  6. Deep breathing exercises: Breathing deeply, especially with long exhales, slows the heart, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress. Because we only breathe slowly and rhythmically when we feel safe, this kind of breathing also signals safety to the body and helps reset the vagus nerve.
  7. Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness: These practices help us feel grounded, centered, and connected, calming the vagus nerve.
  8. Practicing gratitude: Gratitude reduces stress, fosters positive emotions, and soothes the system.
  9. Gentle exercise: When we are activated or triggered, gentle movement helps burn off stress chemicals and calm the body.
  10. Time in nature: Being outdoors helps calm the whole system and restore balance.

Thank you deeply, David, for such a practical and comprehensive overview of the vagus nerve – a subject often spoken about yet still unclear to many. Your insights illuminate not only the importance of regulating this vital pathway but also the profound role Life Alignment can play in supporting it.

Vortex Card of the month

TRUST CARD (SELF-CONFIDENCE)

The Trust Card – Strengthening Inner Security

As we have seen, the vagus nerve plays a central role in helping us shift from stress into balance, creating the inner conditions for calm and resilience. Yet often, past experiences of insecurity or vulnerability continue to echo in the present, shaping how safe we feel within ourselves and in the world.

The Trust Card, one of the tools of Vortex Technology, is designed to support this very dimension of wellbeing. Many people who use it describe a greater sense of inner trust – in themselves, in life, and in the universe. It works gently to release the weight of past doubt, allowing self-confidence and emotional steadiness to grow.

Placed on the body, the magnetic Trust Card fosters an inner experience of security, complementing the vagus nerve’s natural ability to restore calm. Positioned at the entrance of a home, it supports the energetic field of the space, helping it become a haven of protection and safety. In both personal and environmental use, the Trust Card can empower us to move through life with more confidence, clarity, and ease.

JEFF’S PROGRAMME 2025

Sonic Resonance: Tuning Into Your Highest Potential

This month, we’re delighted to share an inspiring conversation with Dan Levin — Vortex Product Manager, music & movement facilitator, and Jeff’s son ;).
Dan brings a unique perspective to Life Alignment, weaving together the worlds of sound, rhythm, and energetic healing. In this interview, I speak to him about the role of vibration in transformation, his personal journey from the dance floor to frequency medicine, and how resonance can help us align with our highest potential. Enjoy! Hug, Maggie.

Maggie: Dan, what does Life Alignment mean to you personally?

To me, Life Alignment is a way of releasing the past while honouring what may have remained latent. It’s a powerful tool for integration: Not through rejection, but by finding nourishment in our history and allowing it to be set free.

I see this reflected in the body. In dance, we often begin grounded – heavy, downward. Our movements are wide, rooted. But once this weight is fully expressed, especially through voice and breath, the body shifts. It begins to reach. The eyes lift, arms extend, and we move upward. It’s the natural arc of resolution — from holding to freedom.

Maggie: True, I can relate to that. You used to work with sound and movement therapeutically, is that right? How did that path evolve for you?

I studied Music Therapy in Vancouver, but soon felt pulled toward movement. A pivotal experience was Authentic Movement — an intuitive, eyes-closed dance process. It became a river, a prayer.

At the same time, Vancouver’s underground rave scene became my living laboratory. People from every walk of life came together in dance, united by rhythm. That’s where I witnessed the unifying power of frequency to dissolve barriers.

After university, I trained in Capoeira and became a DJ. On the dance floor, I stepped into the role of a catalyst — not just an entertainer, but someone who nudged others out of their shells. This playful, embodied work eventually connected me stronger to Life Alignment, where we bring that same aliveness into energetic healing and frequencies.

Maggie: Can you specify this please, what role does high-frequency resonance in music play – e.g in transformational modalities such as Life Alignment?

Music is vibration — and vibration is everything. On the same premise all energy medicine is build on. Certain high-frequency tones naturally shift us into more expansive states. In my work, I compose songs with guitar and voice to support heart-opening, release, and renewal.

In ecstatic dance, this deepens. we experienced this many times when we do the conscious dance night on our yearly, signature Life Alignment retreats in South Africa. The right music becomes a container for emotional clearing. At those retreats, we often use African rhythms. Their grounding beats and joyful vocals help people reconnect with their body and inner rhythm.

It’s all rooted in the understanding that frequency shapes reality — whether sound waves, magnetic fields like the Vortex technology applies in subtle energy patterns. These all interact with our system, supporting healing and coherence.

Maggie: That brings us to Life Alignment balances and Vortex Technology. Can you elaborate more on how you see those working with this same principles?

Beautifully, they’re part of the same spectrum. Life Alignment Sessions reveal energetic imbalances in the body-mind-soul system and use subtle inputs – guided by Higher Self, muscle testing and relevant energetic frequencies which “update” the energy field of the receiver – to restore coherence.

Vortex Technology works with magnetic wave fields rather than sound. These fields carry specific frequencies that support the body’s innate healing intelligence. Tools such as the Home Harmoniser (Rainbow Card) or the Body Spin Set (used by Foundation Course practitioners) emit coherent frequencies that neutralise stress, balance energy flow, and strengthen resilience.

There is a wide range of Vortex products available for different needs and occasions. This technology is a true gift from the universe — unlike anything else. It’s like a remedy that never loses its potency. And it works — as confirmed by numerous tests, studies, and testimonials.

For many years, Vortex Technology was only available to Life Alignment practitioners and their clients. But with the growing consciousness and thus demand for accessible energy healing tools, we’ve created Vortex Energetics — a simple, one-day workshop designed for the public, with no prior experience required.

This course teaches five powerful Vortex cards and how to use them for everyday support — to raise your frequency, improve health, clear emotional and environmental stress, and feel more empowered in your body and life. Whether for people who are new to energy work or already in a holistic profession, it offers practical, hands-on tools. After the course, people ate able to use the cards and so-called Vortex circles at home, with family and friends, or for example in team meetings, retreats, classroom settings, or wellness sessions.

Since its recent launch, Vortex Energetics has been a great success. It’s meeting a deep need: to bring this powerful, transformative technology into the hands of more people, in a grounded and approachable way.

So whether it’s a tuned guitar string, a healing tone through headphones, or a small magnetic disc in your space — the frequency carries the information, and the system responds. It’s all about restoring harmony.

Maggie: I can only echo this – I love this new course. Can you recommend us certain tracks and beats to listen to at home when we want to receive a certain frequency?

Yes for sure. The internet and YouTube has a huge selection. I can recommend to search for below frequency-specific tracks. Listen to them on headphones, because that delivers precise sound environments. I also love Solfeggio tones and binaural beats, known to correspond with brainwaves and energy centres.

Here are a few examples:

  • 396 Hz – for releasing fear and guilt
  • 417 Hz – for clearing emotional residue and activating change
  • 528 Hz – for cellular repair, transformation, and heart-opening
  • 639 Hz – for fostering connection and relationship healing
  • 852 Hz – for enhancing spiritual awareness

It’s subtle but potent. And like Vortex Technology, the frequency does the work. Your job is to receive the resonance and let the system align.

Maggie: Is there scientific grounding for this frequency-based work?

There’s a growing body of research in sound healing, brainwave entrainment, and vibrational medicine. Binaural beats, for instance, introduce slightly different tones to each ear to guide brainwaves: Delta for sleep, Theta for insight, Alpha for calm, Beta for focus, Gamma for elevated states.

And beyond science, there’s experience. Thousands of people report release, clarity, and healing through these frequencies, whether through music, magnetic fields, or Life Alignment sessions. The consistency of those results tells us something real is happening.

Maggie: You’ve grown up immersed in this work. What was it like being Jeff’s son?

It’s hard to describe. Both deeply personal and rich.

I grew up in a house of wonder, curiosity, and humour. Jeff was always telling me imaginative stories. He had a way of trusting life and leading through intuition. I inherited that, along with his desire to bring meaning and joy to others.

Even when I studied more conventional paths — human rights — the magic of his world kept calling. Eventually, I realised I didn’t have to choose. I could bring my music, movement, and rhythm into this healing work and offer something unique.

Maggie: And now you’ve taken on a central role in the organisation, haven’t you?

Yes. I help manage the manufacturing of Vortex products and support the International Head Office, collaborating with the global team to maintain quality and expand our offerings.

This includes refining frequency signatures in our products, supporting practitioner training, and helping facilitators access tools that empower them and their clients. I also am deeply involved in creating empowering experiences for our South Africa retreats.

I see my role as a bridge — between movement and stillness, music and structure, ancient wisdom and modern expression.

Maggie: One last question: If you could prescribe one frequency to the world right now, what would it be?

528 Hz — the love frequency. It’s gentle, but deep. A reminder that transformation is possible, and that we’re all wired for healing. Add a warm bassline, some openhearted rhythm — and let the body remember its joy.

Thank you, Dan, for sharing your insight, creativity, and deep resonance with our community.

Your unique perspective continues to enrich the Life Alignment journey in powerful ways.

JEFF’S EVENTS 2025

Meet Your Inner World.

In this month’s newsletter, I’m speaking with Tanya Harris, an advanced teacher and practitioner of Life Alignment. Tanya is a deeply intuitive soul, known for her grounded presence and heartfelt approach. Over the past 22 years, she has played a key role in developing Life Alignment training materials. More recently, she introduced a new cornerstone to the Life Alignment curriculum: the Vortex Practitioner Training — designed both for holistic professionals and for those new to energy work who prefer an online learning format. She was also instrumental in building the Life Alignment community in South Africa alongside her late husband, Jason Harris. In this conversation, Tanya shares how reconnecting with our inner world can bring about real, lasting change, how to practice it at home and how it can also be studied more deeply through Life Alignment and the Vortex Technology System.

Maggie: Tanya, with everything happening in the world right now, there’s so much talk about anxiety, burnout, and searching for meaning. Why is turning inward more relevant than ever?

For me, the inner world is that sacred, often overlooked space within us. Our emotional layers, our memories, our beliefs, our unmet needs… It’s everything we carry inside that shapes how we show up in life. And right now, with so much going on in the outer world – so much change, pressure, uncertainty – we’re being called more than ever to come home to ourselves. When we reconnect with the inner world, we find our real power. Our peace. Our truth. And from that place, real healing and transformation becomes possible.

Maggie: That’s such a powerful image, coming home to ourselves. In your experience, how does working with the inner world lead to real change?

The inner world is where the real work happens. It’s where our patterns live, the ones we repeat without even realising. It’s where we store our pain, but also where our wisdom and gifts are hiding. When we journey inward, we begin to understand why we react the way we do, why certain things trigger us, why we hold back from love or success. And as we bring awareness and compassion into those spaces, we don’t just feel better. We actually change. We grow. It’s deep, soulful work.

“We don’t just feel better. We actually change. We grow.”
— Tanya Harris
Maggie: You chose Life Alignment to support that inner journey. What makes this modality so effective?

Life Alignment is such a gentle and intelligent system. It helps us bypass the stories in our heads and tune into the deeper intelligence of the body and soul. As a Practitioner, we ask for permission from the client’s Higher Self, we work with the priority presented, and we listen deeply — not just with our minds, but with energy. Using tools like muscle testing, pendulums, and the Vortex cards, we’re able to get to the core of what someone’s holding, helping them explore those subtle layers of self. The shifts that follow are often subtle but profound, and always respectful and powerful.

Maggie: Let’s talk more about the Vortex cards. For someone unfamiliar, they might just look like coloured pieces of plastic. What’s really going on with them?

Oh, they’re magic. The Vortex cards hold very specific, high-frequency, magnetic vibrations that interact with the client’s energy field. They support emotional release, raise frequency, and clear stuck patterns. And they do it in a way that feels so supportive, like being held in light. What’s amazing is how quickly people shift when we use the cards. It’s like they create a sacred field where deep healing becomes safe and accessible. That’s why the Vortex cards are such a core part of the Vortex Practitioner training that I recently launched together with Jeff and the Head office in Life Alignment. I am currently in the process to train more Life Alignment teachers to be able to teach this course to new people. This course, with a strong focus on Vortex technology, helps people access parts of themselves that words alone can’t reach – for themselves and for potential clients.

Maggie: You’ve guided many students through the Life Alignment and Vortex Training. What kind of impact does it have on their lives?

Honestly, it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of this work — watching people go through real, heartfelt transformation. One of the students recently shared a reflection that really touched me. She took the “Vortex Practitioner”- Course and spoke about how this course has completely changed how she approaches healing. Not only with her clients but within herself. She described how this work brings together emotional, mental, and spiritual layers in a way that feels clear and accessible. After exploring many modalities, she said this gave her the most complete and simplified system for understanding the human experience. She ended her testimonial by calling it a life-changing experience.

People gain tools, yes. But more than that, they gain confidence, clarity, and a deeper relationship with themselves. They walk away not just with skills, but with a renewed sense of direction. And that, to me, is the real gift of this training.

I’ve seen people change careers, deepen their spiritual practice, or finally begin offering their own healing sessions. It’s as if something within them unlocks and they begin to shine in a way that feels unmistakably true to who they are.

TESTIMONIAL FROM A PARTICIPANT FROM GERMANY
I found this course utterly transformative. Both on a personal and professional level. The Inner World Material, so fascinating and potentially complex, was beautifully written and presented such that it was made accessible and possible to use immediately. Having different guest practitioners and teachers join us with their knowledge, wisdom and experience also really enriched the material and the whole process. The atmosphere was one of support, openness, curiosity, lightness and wonder such that I looked forward to each session and couldn’t wait to participate, ask questions, and deepen my knowledge and confidence as a Vortex Practitioner. I couldn’t recommend this course more highly.

TESTIMONIAL OF A PARTICIPANTS FROM THE UK
This course has been life changing for me! It has given me so much of a deeper understanding of myself and the people around me and so much more trust for the processes in my life and others processes in their life. I can see so much of a bigger picture and can let go and trust the process more.

Maggie: That’s beautiful. And for someone who’s curious about this work but hasn’t done formal training yet, is there something they can begin with on their own?

Absolutely. You don’t have to wait to start. Even taking ten quiet minutes a day to sit with your body and ask, “What am I feeling? What needs my attention right now?” can begin to open the door inward. You can place your hands on your heart or your belly and simply breathe there. If you’ve already had a Life Alignment session, you might feel drawn to sit with one of the Vortex cards that resonated for you, just observing what arises. Learning the “Vortex Energetics” course, designed for newbies, is also a brilliant way to bring the magic of Vortex to your home – like a first aid toolkit. Journaling is also powerful. Ask yourself questions like: What am I afraid to feel? What am I longing for? It’s really about creating a safe space to meet yourself with honesty and care. That’s where it all begins.

If something in Tanya’s words stirred a remembering in you – that quiet nudge that there’s more to explore and gain from – maybe this is your moment. The time to return to the quiet voice within, to make space for what matters, and to step into the possibility of living more connected, clear, and well.

No experience is needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to begin. Thank you so much Tanya – amazing insights and thank you for introducing this new pathway in Life Alignment to us. I am sure people will have more questions and want to hear about potential courses. Please reach out!

Whether you’re drawn to explore a 1-day Vortex Energetics Workshop or simply want to connect with a practitioner or Foundation Course teacher, this work is designed to meet you where you are and help you gently move inward.
