Jeff’s 80th Birthday Celebration With The South African Community. Happy 80th Birthday Jeff!

At Jeff’s 80th birthday celebrations with the South African Life Alignment community, I, Elinor, realised that some of the community had known each other for the twenty odd years that Jeff has been teaching. I also realized that our General Manager is a relative newbie in the community.
After the beautiful afternoon in idyllic weather, Maggie drove home with me and on purpose I took the long way so that I could ask her to repeat and expand on the insightful speech she had made, showing her deep commitment both for Jeff and for the Life Alignment healing modality.

Maggie, you showed up in the Life Alignment community four and a half years ago, and I know you as Jeff’s General Manager, but how did you actually get in touch with LA?

I am part of Life Alignment for about five years. I started as a practitioner focusing on business and career alignment. For the last two and a half years I spent working at Jeff’s head office, managing the more general and less spiritual aspects of the business of Life Alignment.
Personally, I have a quite deep background in spiritual modalities—having grown up with a mother who would treat every flu and heartbreak at its root cause. After relocating to South Africa, I found myself searching desperately for an alternative to the method I had relied on before, something that wasn’t conventional therapy but could efficiently resolve subconscious conflicts while supporting both my personal and professional growth.
Never did I expect to find something that would trump my previous solutions, but Life Alignment did just that. The LA balances are so incredibly comprehensive and efficient.   For me, there is no better tool to resolve acute issues and manifest new outcomes.
In this time, I’ve come to appreciate the immense complexity and international reach of the business Jeff has created and allowed to evolve organically.

Okay, that covers your passion for Life Alignment and your deep respect for Jeff and his ongoing life’s work. How do you end up working for Jeff’s head office?

I called him 🙂

My professional background and passion are economy and business development
I could see that Life Alignment is an incredible and impactful spiritual movement, but at the end of the day also a standard business operation which requires management and development.
My self-chosen purpose is, long before I encountered Life Alignment, to merge spirituality and business. I do this with my Business Consulting and Career Alignment; however, I could see that working with Jeff on the business side was the best space for me to live this so fully.

And you were right.

I am so deeply grateful to Jeff. He allows me to live my dream and work my purpose and helped me to trust the flow of life like I never have before.

How is it to work with Jeff in a more left brained business context?

What stands out for me is the safe environment Jeff creates. This space enabled me to grow beyond my previous limits. With him I can be completely myself. I have seen him creating this space for others as well, and I am so impressed by this quality.
Jeff and I have actually very different personalities. Jeff, however, does not meet you at personality level, but at the level of intention. We both welcome new challenges daily and meet them with often different approaches. Jeff always remains steadfast, always treating our team at the head office in South Africa with respect, optimism, and recognition for our efforts. Every phone call and meeting ends with a genuine thank you, and Jeff never fails to bring his witty sense of humour into our interactions. There is always laughter, always personal connection—people come first, and then the tasks follow.
Jeff dedicates countless hours to working with us to shape the legacy of Life Alignment. I have never encountered an entrepreneur so committed to a community and a life’s work without being driven by the usual metrics of return on investment.

As an even newer member of the team, I must agree with you on this.
You talked about the legacy of Life Alignment, what do you mean with this and how did you set the direction for it?

Not only globally, but also within Life Alignment we are going through a big phase of transition. Looking back on my journey with Jeff and Life Alignment, I can compare it to a big fat LA Balance.
If I reflect on all this through the lens of the “Question during Balances,” it all began with the first phase: Go deep. Feel the challenge, the resistance, the doubts, the stress. This was during the peak of the pandemic when different opinions stirred up communities and the world.

  1. The first step involved extensive communication. To do this, Life Alignment had to transition online and become digital almost overnight. Both Life Alignment as a whole and we as individuals had to reinvent and reharmonize ourselves completely. Jeff’s time in the hospital also confronted us with the question of how we can organize Life Alignment in the long term. To set the course for this, it is so important to communicate with each other and to understand intentions on a soul basis.
  2. Thanks to Jeff’s constant willingness to connect—whether spontaneously, or in meetings, or in the Chat with Jeff—we were able to transform the stress of the moment and create a healthier business environment for everyone involved. Today, we have a Life Alignment that our practitioners, teachers, and students can be proud of. We are on the path to building a global brand, one that will be internationally recognized, allowing many people to not only spread light but also achieve abundance for themselves and others.
  3. In this process I also learned to connect to inner guidance, for example to the LA team to ensure that we were steering the Life Alignment ship in the right direction and allowing to receive the message which lies in each situation. Jeff is always connected, and his aura allows oneself to do that too.
  4. Jeff gives so much space to learn new lessons. No matter what happens, he always finds the positive and builds on it. He himself also remains humble, always open to receiving feedback and learning from experiences. We’ve implemented new ways of learning and exploring Life Alignment keeping up with the digital age. Jeff passes on more and more advanced knowledge to the advanced teachers, and the learning experience for students and clients is simplified.
  5. I also experience the immense power of Jeff’s trust. He gives me the freedom and responsibility to take charge of certain aspects. To let me do what I want to do about a situation. Jeff trusts not only his own intuition but also that of others, which, in turn, strengthens my own self-trust. This is such a gift.
  6. Even within a spiritual company, there are politics. Jeff’s mantra to understand, accept, forgive and love sometimes challenges me because I often find myself less calm than he is. How does he maintain such calm when I’m on the brink of losing my mind? I need a few more balances on this – for sure.
  7. While Jeff trusts and grants people space for self-realization within his company and the community, he and everyone else are always there when help is needed. Jeff even provides me with a safe space to call him and just throw a tantrum. He listens with patience and takes it seriously. Jeff is a spiritual role model, yet he is completely relatable! He knows how to always provide different polarities, which, over time, becomes second nature for oneself as well.
  8. The past few years—and the years to come—have shown that Life Alignment, as a company, must set boundaries to build a legacy. Even in a community environment, we need to establish boundaries and set expectations, both for the community and for the future.
  9. What I truly want is for us all to recognize Jeff for initiating a movement that is far from reaching its peak. For example, Vortex Technology is groundbreaking and the medicine of the future. We are fortunate to already be a part of it, and I feel blessed to be on this journey. Let’s continue to visualize Life Alignment as a modality where we are all self-empowered, living lives of abundance and fulfilment. Of course, we must each take responsibility for our own success, whether in healing our past or manifesting new ways forward. Jeff has built the foundation, and it will be on us to keep this momentum going.
  10. Let us stay with the feeling of deep gratitude for Jeff. Sometimes, I wonder if he fully realizes the magnitude of his gift to the world. Life Alignment has a spiritual influence and Jeff incredible downloading skills But at the end of the day, it takes a person of great character, will power, high energy to build a vessel like Life Alignment this in the form of matter on this 3D world and spreading its influence across the globe.

Maggie, the way you weaved what you wanted to say into these questions during balances is amazing, giving me a new insight into how important and effective a balance is.
The birthday celebrations were initiated by Tanya and Jason, so I do want to chat to them while we’re all still together.

Jason, you and Tanya organised such a lovely get together to celebrate Jeffs 80th birthday. Thank you again for doing this, what a special day and to be finally together again physically.

Jason: It has been our absolute pleasure! It was the most natural thing for us to celebrate the life and work of a man that has had such a profound impact on our lives and the lives of many others around the world.
I have valued all the times that I have spent with Jeff. A man that I hold in high regard.
For the compassion and love that he shares with the world and the people around him. For his wisdom that he freely shares when asked, as well as the wisdom that is clear in his gentle silence as he observes others. And for the trait that I value most amongst my friends and loved ones. A deep sense of responsibility, which he manages to keep light and amusing even when confronted by something seemingly heavy.
It is hard not to deeply love Jeff. And the incredible modality he has pioneered and nurtured, Life Alignment. A way of working in someone’s energetic field that often works on a level way beyond normal human awareness. With unbelievable results.

I know that I am joined by many around the world that share in my love and deepest gratitude for him.

A Discovery Of Vibrational Medicine

Life Alignment has developed Vortex Technology to facilitate the process of raising the vibrational frequencies of ourselves, our community and land.

“The field is the sole influence of the particle.”
-Albert Einstein

Each Vortex product has its unique magnetic frequency and is charged with quantum information. This technology brings harmony to the chaos/field and changes the properties of harmful frequencies – in our bodies, our food, water, gadgets and spaces – transforming lower vibration to higher vibration. As a result, we are realigned with our natural frequency and capacity – initially for our personal health and elevated potential and ultimately promoting global balance.

So much for theory. But what does that really mean? This month, Elinor Durr, Project- and Event Manager at the Head Office of Life Alignment in South Africa, tells us about her first and unfiltered experiences with the small magnetic cards with a big impact.

Elinor (left) and Claire (right) in Greece

“You are exactly what we need at Head Office, Elinor…”

…this is how my journey with Life Alignment began. I found myself in a peaceful, sunny office getting a hug and a warm welcome from people I’d never met.  Immediately I felt at home.

“These are the vortex cards,” explained Dan, Jeff Levin’s son, and Product Manager of the Vortex technology range.
“They look like fridge magnets,” was my reaction, immediately drawn to the geometric shapes and vibrant colours.  “What do they do?”  I was hired because of my compliance and project management background, not because I had any knowledge of Life Alignment and its tools.

“This one can help with the damaging electromagnetic energy from your cell phone, and this one…” my mind had wandered.  I’d arrived in an office that had not yet been unpacked, after Jeff and Merle had moved from Cape Town to Hermanus.  I saw boxes piled to the ceiling and Jeff looking at me as if I could magically turn the piled boxes into a functional office.
“I’ll find out more about the cards tomorrow,” became my mantra.  I could quote the “blurb” on the packaging of each card and that was all I needed to do.
“Can you feel the energy?” Jeff asked one day.
“No,” was my honest answer, “but I don’t need to.  I can see that other people feel it.  I can see what the Life Alignment modality does for people and that the Vortex technology complements it well.”
Fast Forward 18 months and I decided it was time to find out for myself what Jeff’s Vortex Technology actually could do.

Raise the vibration

“The cards call you, you know,” explained Claire Macias, Advanced Life Alignment practitioner in Mexico. “You’ll feel them, when you need to.”
Claire had flown from Mexico City, via Atlanta in the USA, to Madrid and then to Athens, where I met her.   I had only flown from Berlin where I was visiting my daughter.
“How can you be awake already after nearly 36 hours of travelling?” I asked her astounded at her energy levels.
“I use the cards to raise the vibration in my body and thus take away the jet lag. “Let’s go visit the Acropolis!”
After Eleni had guided us through a historical and architectural tour of the Acropolis, Claire and I explored:  Bare foot and too busy looking at the Parthenon columns (are they really not straight?) to see where I was going, I landed face first on the ground, having slipped on some smooth marble.

Vortex First Aid

“Just sit and catch your breath,” was Claire’s advice as I felt her hands on my head and forehead, “You are in a state of shock. I’m just putting all your bodies back together,” while I noticed that my right ring finger was pointing in a very peculiar direction.
I wondered if I was going to need a Greek ambulance to take me to a Greek hospital to fix my finger.  There was no motivation to meet EMTs or hospitals today.
“I’m going to put my finger back before the pain sets in,” I announced.
“Do you know how?” Claire asked.
“I just did,” was my answer and together we laughed and rejoiced in my two hands looking normal again.
Claire took out some Vortex cards,  “just sit with these cards on you, and breathe.”
“Claire, we need to get down this mountain before the pain gets such that I won’t be able to walk down.”  This was not my first tumble.  I knew what would happen when the adrenaline stopped flowing.  I knew that every muscle in my body was going to ache.  I knew that the blood running down my leg was from a scrape that was going to start stinging. The bruise on my buttock would throb, and I was pretty sure that my finger would ache, judging by the speed at which it started turning blue.
But… we had to have a closer look at the Temple of Athena.

The Fire Card

Claire gave me a Square card. “Take this fire card and strap it to your finger with your scarf.”
“What’s that going to do?”
“Help with pain and healing. It generates energy for the body. Where there is pain, energy flow is blocked, so it helps to release the blockage and let healing energy flow.”
“I need coffee,” I remember answering, and I’m pretty sure her answer was, “you always need coffee.”
Having ordered my customary cappuccino (apologies sent to all Italians, I do drink cappuccino after midday), I realized that I really should not be seen in public with my leg still looking like a used butcher’s block.  I found a pharmacy, left Claire to do some shopping and allowed the friendly pharmacist who spoke beautiful English, to clean up my leg.  “This is going to hurt,” as she sprayed some disinfectant.
“I’m obviously still in shock, I’m not feeling any pain,” while she gently pulled some gravel out the gashes.
“You’re not showing any shock symptoms,” she told me.
“Claire,” I shouted, forgetting that she was three shops further down the road, but she heard me.
“I don’t have any pain, and look I can run,” as I skipped down the narrow cobble-stoned street towards her.
“Good, let’s go have lunch.”
After a minute or two of rare silence between us, “Claire, why don’t I feel any pain or stiffness?”
“The beauty of Vortex Technology, she tells me with her smile lighting up the whole of Europe and halfway to Turkey.
I can only but smile back, and ask her, “those cards, did they really do so much?”
“You tell me.”
In my heart I knew she was right. I’m 56 years old, I took a major plummet down some very hard rock and yet, I was hopping, skipping, and jumping.

Jeff explains

I wanted to tell Jeff about my experiences and of course I had lots of questions, “Jeff, what made you put energy into magnetic sheeting?  Why didn’t you do what homeopaths do?  Can the energy really stay in that magnetic sheeting? How can a piece of magnetic sheeting carry healing energy?”
“One question at a time, please Elinor.  It’s easy, I was told to use a magnet while I was downloading the system.
“I needed a very weak magnet, so I bought some magnets that are on the fridges of all houses with toddlers.  The neon pink and green words like ‘and’ and ‘the’.  These magnets are weak because the north and south poles are very close together.  The magnet is fairly neutral thus being the most effective means of storing and preserving the energy that I’d downloaded.
So, instead of using glycerine, alcohol or sugar-coated pills like the homeopaths and naturopaths use, magnetic strips hold the information.  It allows for a picture on each card to remind us which magnetic strip holds which energy.  A very user-friendly solution.”
“What do you mean by ‘downloading’, Jeff?”
“Through meditation I could connect to Light Beings that helped me understand what I needed to do.”
“And does the energy in the cards last?”
“Once it’s there it is permanent.”  He continued, “I took the cards through test after test – put them in a microwave, on an X-ray machine, leaving them in the sun for days on end, putting them in water and twenty years on, nothing destroyed the energy from the first card I potentized.”

How do the cards help me in my everyday life?

“Try it on animals,” he suggested.  “I know a practitioner who had a squirrel once that had been injured by some dogs.  She put it in a box, put it on a Structural Repair Circle and an hour later opened the box to see how it was doing and it scampered out of the box with not an injury in sight.
I felt my racing brain which always seems to be somewhere in the future or the past or anywhere except where it should be.  He seemed to know what my brain was doing and handed me a  Presence Card.  I felt my body relax and I was able to concentrate on Jeff’s words. I could just BE.
“Try the Earth card in your garden,” he continued.  “I secretly dug one into a friend’s failed garden bed – it was apparently a complete dead bit of the garden.  Two weeks later, I found all plants were flourishing.
“Did you tell her what you’d done?”
“Sometimes being silent has more power than using words,” was Jeff’s wise reply.

A tool for the General Public?

I related the story to Jeff of my experiences with the Cards in Athens and then proceeded to ask, “Jeff, can the general public with no Life Alignment training or understanding use these cards?”
I could feel and hear the sigh before I even saw the eye roll.
“Elinor, you’ve just spent half an hour telling me all the wonderful things that Vortex Technology has done for you, and you don’t have any Life Alignment training!”

Yes, the cards had called, and yes, they can benefit all.

Vortex Card of the month

Fire Card (Painkiller)

Just as the sun is the generator of energy for the earth, fire is the generator of energy for the body. Fire represents light, heat, energy, protection, and the power of transformation. People with a strong fire element in their constitution have leadership qualities and are confident, brave, progressive and eager in pursuing goals.

The fire card works to activate circulation in the body by energising the energy field that surrounds us.

When there is pain, the energy flow is blocked in that area. Putting the Fire card on the painful area, promotes a release of the blockage (trauma stored in the tissue) to re-open the energy flow, which facilitates the body’s own healing capacity – this works on both physical and emotional pain. It also can increase flexibility and accelerate the healing process when placed on a scar or injury.

The Homeward Journey

It is a natural human aspiration to live well, but what about dying well? Is there such a thing as dying gracefully? This months newsletter is dedicated to exploring the profound topic of facing our mortality and embracing the circle of life with grace. In this space, we aim to illuminate the path toward understanding death not as an end, but as a sacred part of life’s journey – as an element of aligning to Life. Philippa Lubbock, an esteemed figure in the realm of Life Alignment and a beacon of wisdom, shares with us her profound understanding of Life Alignment as well as delves into the heart of the matter: the fear of dying and the art of embracing the inevitable with trust, gratefulness and curiosity. Through her words, we are reminded that the journey homeward is not one of darkness and despair, but of enlightenment and liberation.

How we live, is how we die
 Pema Chodron

Rania strode into my room. Her first visit. ‘Recently’, she said, ‘I heard about this Life Alignment and thought… well, why not give it a try? I’ve tried everything else.’ Her survival rate was barely eighteen months, so Rania was eligible to participate in a clinical trial for cancer. The experimental, unlicensed drugs were brutal, but she would do anything to stay alive.

As students and practitioners, we work with ‘loss’ in every balance.
Loss of self-confidence, trust, relationship, work, security, or death. Each priority is about loss of connection within our physical and subtle bodies. Temporarily, we become dis-connected from the Law of Interconnectedness – with all beingsand all that is.
I am here to serve Rania in the best way possible for her mind, body, and soul. Rather than harbouring any wish to keep her alive, my sole purpose is to listen closely to her higher Self and follow her precise guidance. Aware that this 66year old woman is likely to die soon, how might I assist her to depart free from fear and, instead, to return Home in peace?

Within minutes the root cause of Rania’s fear of dying began to surface.
Her bodymind was consumed with buried rage and hatred. She’d not spoken to her mother for 45 years. ‘I have not cried since my 5th birthday’, she declared. ‘No matter what she did, I refused to let her see me cry.’ Neither had Rania’s four adult children ever seen their mother cry. Over the weeks, she received a balance immediately following each intravenous dose. Life Alignment reduced, significantly, the physical damage and, gradually, Rania began to release not only her paralysing fear of dying, but also her tears.

In time, Rania, became too weak to visit and died at home, peacefully, with her husband and children around her bed. Having made peace with the past, she had cried together with her children.

Personally, in writing about this, I have an advantage. My journey Home is not so far off! And in my early 20’s I became fascinated with this event through reading how, thousands of years ago, Buddhist masters described the dying process in detail, including the order in which the body shuts down. The beauty and reverence with which they described departure from our planetary home, touched me and I wanted to learn all I could about how I might die in the best way possible. Over the years, my teachers gave me the same answer: preparation – using meditation to train my mind to concentrate, be fully present. And as I got older, I recognised a significant difference between the momentous events of birth and death.

Entry into this earthly world is given thoughtful attention through learning about parenthood, what significant bodily changes to expect, as well as managing the mental-emotional waves that accompany this event. Preparation for dying asks that we pay similar care and attention while learning to live with the body’s physical decline, mental confusion, or loneliness – and to deepen our soul connection in readiness for departure.

In every balance, Life Alignment invites us to identify and release what is blocking our soul’s path, and through living more healthily in mind, body, and spirit, we are preparing for a more peaceful journey Home.

‘I’m not afraid of death.
I just don’t want to be there when it happens.’

We laugh at Woody Allen’s old joke, but it’s also true, we don’t know what death is going to be like.  So that brings us to the question: do I want to be there when it happens? If not, what might I be fearful of? Since there is seldom a balance where fear, anxiety, or doubt is not present, it can be a support for us humans, to become friends with fear.  Whether our issue is to do with separation, conflict, illness, or our friend death, fear is the emotion that colours them. And because such issues are not enjoyable, it makes sense to turn away, stay busy, try not to feel, and bury them.

In my experience, fear of death is present in all of us whether, or not, we are aware. In serving our clients who may be grieving for loss of a loved one, a friend, and fear their own death, it is essential that we look at our own fear of dying and loss of our loved ones, so that as we work, we stay grounded, present, accepting whatever arises.

So, what is Death, this event that will happen as surely as dawn gives way to dusk? Why do we turn away? Hovering in the background is the silent presence of the Unknown. We don’t know what it’s like, where, when, or how it will happen. But the Japanese writer, Murakami, reminds us…

‘Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it.’

We breathe in. We breathe out. It’s all part of breathing. We come in (birth). We go out (death). It’s all part of living. We can’t have one without the other. Instead of polarisation, birth and death make up a cycle – like the Seasons. So why might we be reluctant to prepare, or even talk about dying?

Let’s look at our physical body, without which we cannot be here. Its design, beauty, function and durability is phenomenal. And, naturally from time to time, pipes leak; passageways get blocked; or the wiring blows a fuse in this guesthouse – like the equipment in our homes. Surrounding this complex feat of engineering, are the subtle bodies (mental, emotional, spiritual) and chakras. And if this were not miraculous enough, there is an ‘invisible’ energy field that extends beyond all these bodies. We know it as the Light Body that represents spiritual awakening and cultivates balance, healing, and transformation.

My physical body was built for me, and I ‘rent’ it on a long lease. One day, I’ll move out and here’s the problem – I don’t want to move out. We fear pain and loss of capacity, of our relationships, status, possessions, and ultimately loss of our identity. Moving out brings up fear of the unknown.

Death is letting go and Mother Nature is our teacher. A tree doesn’t cling onto its leaves. When it’s time for a leaf to die it lets go… and drops.  But it’s difficult for us humans. We cling. We’re attached to our body, to our story. However, our story is always in process and changing.  It’s not very reliable!

What do I really have to hang onto? My story is impermanent, always revised, re-written. This, after all, is what happens during a Life Alignment balance. We ‘re-write’ our response to parts of our story (the movie) so that we re-experience the memory through greater understanding and an open heart. Our body isn’t a solid continuous thing. Every molecule is transforming living cells into dead ones. The closer we look at this whole package called ‘me’, the less solid it appears to be.

So, death asks: ‘why do you cling onto yourself, onto others, to things? They’re not solid or permanent.’  Once we embrace the truth of impermanence, our fear of loss becomes a little quieter. Life Alignment, this sacred healing system, brings into oneness (alignment) the Wave (material plane, physical body) and the Ocean (subtle plane: mind, heart, soul). It helps us to accept death and dying as part of life. This spiritual path guides us to uncover our buried fears and release them, so that we develop trust, living more as the vast Ocean that we are, and less as separate, anxious waves!

And the afterlife? What happens to the soul? Following loss of a child, parent, partner, naturally their absence leaves a gaping hole and, as we accompany others through their grieving process, questions may arise that hang in the air – where has my loved one gone? Are they safe, at peace? Belief (or not) in life after death is a deeply personal matter that, I believe, each person will explore if they so choose.

Death is our loving teacher who walks lightly, silently alongside as we enjoy the vitality of life on EarthInterwoven like a fine silk thread into our daily activities, death says: ‘If you’d learn about me, you wouldn’t need to be fearful. I am both the process and the vehicle – a winged chariot or a shiny limousine – to transport you. You can’t go Home without me!’

And so, in our collective wisdom, we know that it is through living daily as kindly, as compassionately and wisely as we can towards our own dear self – and to all living beings – that we die with more peace of mind. For, as the great Masters teach us in their different ways:

‘The moment the wave realises that it is water,
not separate from the ocean,
all fear of death disappears’.

Vortex Card of the month

Trust Card (Self-Confidence)

Do you know the feeling when past experiences influence your confidence in the present? You want to stay positive but your self-confidence is limited? The Trust Card is designed to help strengthen the experience of trust in oneself, in life and death, and in the universe.

Experiencing the Trust card, many people describe an increased sense of inner security. This card helps to work on issues of fear, anxiety, vulnerability, giving a sense of inner trust.

When placed on the main door of a room, the Trust card works on the energetic field of the related space and supports the creation of a sense of protection in that area. The aim is to assist you in experiencing your home and body as a haven through positively shifting its energy. This can have the effect of empowerment by means of a greater connection to your inner sense of safety.

Self Worth

Do you have a strong sense of self-worth?

Your own sense of self worth is vital to our well-being and success to achieve what we thrive for. We all have moments where we feel insecure, vulnerable, and small. Real self worth really comes to play in times of uncertainty; to be confident and feel worthy while we are not in control. Some of us spend the majority of our lives struggling to connect with our worth. We might feel like we are undeserving of love and abundance, or that we must earn our acceptance by performing well or doing things for others. It can be hard to consistently live with a deep knowledge of our innate value.

In last month’s newsletter we explored the relevance of our brain and autonomic nervous system in order to change our conscious and unconscious belief systems. In this month’s edition we delve into the ever prevalent topic of our own self-worth. Michael Coyle talks to us about the importance of it and how one’s improved self-worth can lead to manifesting and feeling abundant.

A Best Practice Story

Michael is a Life Alignment practitioner from South Africa and shares with us a best practice story about one of his clients coming to his practice. The first impression of this client came across smart and confident.  Everything in his life was going well and he seemed to be happy. He was in sales and made many deals every month but for some reason he hardly earned any money. Even when extra money came in such as gifts or bonuses, it went out quickly again.

Such ominous “cracks” started showing up in all areas of his life such as in his relationship and friendships. It all looked good on the surface but below was disharmony, imbalance and the energy of crisis.

Furthermore the client was hypercritical of himself and proud to be a perfectionist. Starting with this intention, discovering the leaks underneath the surface of his life, he began the journey with Life Alignment. Right at the start, during his first Life Alignment session, he connected to a deep space within him that had an incredibly low feeling of self-worth.

Life and Organisation Alignment Process

Michael realised quickly that working on increasing his self-worth will have a positive effect on his client’s business as well and initiated an Organisation Alignment process with the client’s Sales Department.

Business or Organisation Alignment involves looking at what is holding a business or organisation back from reaching its full potential or fulfilling its purpose and mission. However, it is when we balance the people within the organisation that the real transformation happens and the organisation shifts.

The client and his team indeed made huge progress. His business was starting to make money sustainably, and his relationships were improving.

But why?

How did the Life & Organisation Alignment process help the client to shift his manifesting reality?
Michael worked on the widely spread hidden belief system ‘I’m not worthy’. During balances they identified certain blocks, mainly from the client’s childhood, that initiated to carry such a belief system. For example the client was always told by his teachers that he would not amount to anything because he was ‘too energetic and busy’, because they couldn’t control him in the classroom. At home he was forced to keep everything neat and tidy and nothing must be out of place. Everything had to be perfect. Together these scenarios were shaping his perfectionism on the outside while feeling not good enough on the inside.

Using the Life Alignment balancing procedure Michael’s client was able to move into feeling more compassionate towards himself. He started to realise internally that he was good enough and didn’t need the approval of teachers or anyone else in the outside realm who didn’t know how to handle and appreciate him. He also realised that everything doesn’t have to look perfect on the outside to achieve success. He set up a savings account for himself and began to pay himself – to appreciate himself and his invested energy. This, on the surface small appearing contribution, acted like a plug which prevented the money from escaping. Michael’s client began to create more wealth and value for himself. He also found that he was seeking less and less approval or validation from other people and this strengthened his relationships, especially the one with himself, because he discovered that he was good enough to deserve a rich life.

The value I place on myself
determines what happens in my life.

It is a long and profound journey to develop a deep sense of self-worth. Michael continues to tell us of a time he once offered his services on Facebook for half price for a limited time.

“A day later I went to a client who was a financial advisor. She said hello and immediately said that she had seen my services offered at half price. I happily said ‘yes, I need more clients and am offering a discount to attract new ones’. She replied saying, ‘you are only going to attract clients that will pay half your fee and half your worth.’ The smile left my face as the penny dropped.”

“When I know I’m worth more, then more appears in my life, when I discount myself then less appears in my life,” Michael continues.

We all have moments where reality hits – rent goes up, the cost-of-living increases and there’s even more months left at the end of the money. This is a time when our self-worth can hit a low. A spiral downwards might continue when we adjust our process or ask for a raise to meet the inflation costs and as a result some clients leave and our financial needs get rejected.

To increase one’s feeling of self-worth it is necessary to understand where these limiting beliefs originated and how a response change is necessary.

What can we do to assess and increase our self worth?

Become aware of the feeling

“I pay attention to the thoughts and statements I make to myself (and about myself), especially during moments of self-doubt or stress. When I catch myself thinking or saying something negative about myself, I challenge it. I ask if there is evidence to support this thought or if it’s an irrational belief”, explains Michael.

He also does Life Alignment sessions with fellow practitioners or on himself to uncover these hidden and limiting belief systems. “It is fascinating to discover how many limiting beliefs we actually have and it is a huge release to get to know and let them go.”

There are tools available

to all of us to turn around our negative self-worth.

  • Replace negative self-talk with positive, affirming statements: if you catch yourself thinking, “I’m not good enough for this job,” replace it with, “I have the skills and experience to succeed in this job.”
  • Create a list of positive affirmations: that reflect your strengths and aspirations. Repeat these affirmations daily, especially in the morning or before challenging situations. For example, “I am capable and confident” or “I deserve success.”
  • The ‘but’ technique: When you catch yourself using negative self-talk, add the word “but” to introduce a more positive perspective. For example, “I made a mistake, but I can learn from it and improve.”
  • Create a Self-Care Routine: Design a daily or weekly self-care routine that includes activities and practices that make you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. This routine can be customized to your preferences and schedule.
  • Mindful Breathing: Take a few minutes each day to engage in deep, mindful breathing. Focus on your breath, inhaling slowly and deeply, and exhaling fully. This practice can help reduce stress and increase your overall sense of well-being.
  • Body Movement: Engage in physical activities you enjoy, whether it’s yoga, jogging, dancing, or simply taking a walk in nature. Regular exercise is an excellent form of self-care.
  • Practice Gratitude: Each day, take a moment to reflect on the things you’re grateful for. Keep a gratitude journal where you write down the positive aspects of your life. This can help you shift your focus toward positivity and self-worth.
  • Set Boundaries: Learn to say no when necessary and establish healthy boundaries in your personal and professional life. Respecting your own limits is a fundamental aspect of self-worth.
  • Disconnect from Technology: Allocate specific times of the day or week to unplug from technology. This allows you to recharge and connect with yourself and others in a more meaningful way. Consider taking periodic digital detoxes, where you abstain from social media, emails, and digital devices for a set duration.
  • Self-Compassion Meditation: Practice self-compassion meditation to cultivate kindness and understanding toward yourself. This type of meditation helps build self-worth and reduce self-criticism.

Creative Expression: Engage in creative activities that allow you to express yourself, such as painting, writing, playing a musical instrument, or crafting. Creative expression can be a therapeutic form of self

-care.

Healing and expansion is a profound process. Life Alignment is designed to facilitate this journey – safe, individual and efficient. After a trauma has been dealt with and the forgiveness or acceptance of a situation comes into effect, only then do we enter into that space of peace and self-love: The ultimate foundation of the natural and magnifying power of self-worth.

Vortex Card of the Month

On the body, the Heart card is working on the heart chakra invoke love and to bring in increased harmony. As a result, the card promotes vitalising the physical heart. On a more subtle level, the Heart card encourages openness to internal and external love, to self worth and feelings, such as forgiveness, confidence and optimism.

EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT:

As in Feng Shui, Home Alignment (which is an aspect of Life Alignment) works with the premise that each building has a heart center. The Heart card can be used on a building as a whole or for individual rooms.

The Heart card helps to strengthen the Heart Center so that it can act as a positive source of energy for the building. It also works on balancing the masculine and feminine energies of a home. To locate the Heart Center in your building, please contact a Home Alignment consultant near you.

Transforming Bad Habits

As we entering the new year, a lot of people have the desire to focus on transforming bad habits into positive ones, a significant step towards a fresh start. Shedding the weight of detrimental habits can profoundly enhance our well-being and set us on a path to success. In this article, Angelika Anagnostou, Life Alignment Practitioner based in India, shows us her way to deal with bad habits. Angelika firmly believes that

ANYTHING can be shifted: We can all manifest our true potential as long as we are truly willing and ready!

Bad habits often become deeply ingrained in our lives, creating a seemingly unbreakable cycle that can leave us feeling frustrated and powerless. The key to understanding this cycle lies in the intricate relationship between the brain and these detrimental patterns of behaviour. Our brains, remarkable and adaptable organs, play a central role in both the formation and perpetuation of bad habits.

At the core of habit formation is the brain’s reward system which is a complex network of neurotransmitters and neural pathways designed to reinforce behaviours that bring pleasure or comfort. When we engage in activities that trigger the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward, the brain takes notice. Over time, these behaviours become associated with positive feelings, creating a loop where the brain craves the associated rewards.

Stress Eating

Consider the example of stress eating. In times of stress, many people turn to food as a source of comfort. When we consume certain foods, especially those high in sugar and fat, the brain releases dopamine, providing a momentary sense of relief. This positive reinforcement strengthens the neural connections associated with stress eating, making it more likely that we’ll turn to this habit again when faced with stress in the future.

The brain’s role in maintaining bad habits goes beyond simple pleasure and reward. It extends to the formation of neural pathways that, once established, become deeply entrenched. Imagine these neural pathways as well-worn trails in a forest – the more frequently a trail is traversed, the more defined and difficult to deviate from it becomes.

Breaking free from these ingrained habits requires a nuanced understanding of the brain’s plasticity, its ability to adapt and reorganise itself.

The brain is not a static organ

The good news is that the brain is not a static organ; it possesses a remarkable capacity for change, commonly referred to as neuroplasticity. By understanding how the brain forms and reinforces habits, we can leverage neuroplasticity to rewire these entrenched neural pathways.

This is where the Life Alignment technique comes into play. It recognises the interconnected nature of our mental, emotional, and physical well-being, providing a holistic approach to breaking free from destructive habits. Rather than viewing habits in isolation, Life Alignment considers the underlying emotional and psychological factors that contribute to their persistence.

A Multifaceted Approach

Life Alignment involves a multifaceted approach, starting with the identification of the root causes of bad habits. This process often involves introspection, delving into past experiences, and recognising emotional triggers. By understanding the emotional underpinnings of a habit, one can begin to address the deeper issues driving their behaviour.

Setting clear intentions is another crucial aspect of the Life Alignment technique. By defining positive goals and intentions, we can shift our focus away from the immediate pleasure associated with bad habits. This intentional shift helps reprogram the brain to seek fulfilment in healthier behaviours, gradually diminishing the allure of destructive habits.

Energy healing

A central component of Life Alignment is energy healing.  This focuses on balancing the body’s energy centres, for example the chakras. This practice aims to release emotional blockages that contribute to the persistence of negative habits. Therapeutic dialogue, also used during a Life Alignment session, addresses emotions that are often deeply intertwined with habits and can act as powerful drivers of behaviour. By addressing these emotional imbalances, we can create a more harmonious internal environment, making it easier to overcome destructive habits.

Mindfulness and guided meditation round out the Life Alignment toolkit. These practices cultivate awareness, enabling us to observe our thoughts and actions without judgment. Mindfulness is a powerful tool for breaking the automatic, thoughtless cycles that often characterise bad habits. By bringing conscious awareness to each moment, we can interrupt the habitual patterns and make more deliberate, positive choices.

Consistent and Intentional

In the realm of neuroplasticity, consistent and intentional practice is key. Life Alignment provides a structured framework for rewiring the brain, disrupting the established neural pathways associated with bad habits. By breaking the dopamine cycle, addressing emotional factors, and strengthening the prefrontal cortex responsible for decision-making and self-control, Life Alignment empowers individuals to take charge of their habits.

Creating new neural pathways is a gradual process, requiring patience and dedication. The practice of Life Alignment techniques supports individuals to forge new trails in the metaphorical forest of their brains. As these new pathways become more defined, the pull of old, destructive habits weakens, paving the way for lasting change.

Real-life success stories

serve as powerful testaments to the efficacy of Life Alignment. These stories underscore the transformative potential of this technique in breaking free from the chains of destructive habits. Each success story is a beacon of hope, demonstrating that change is not only possible but achievable through dedication and the right tools.

For those considering embarking on their own journey of transformation through Life Alignment, practical steps can make the process more accessible. Finding a certified practitioner or learning the techniques from authorised teachers provides a solid foundation. Dedication to daily practice, incorporating mindfulness, meditation, and energy healing, creates a consistent rhythm for rewiring the brain.

Seeking support from a community or counsellor is a valuable aspect of the journey. Breaking free from bad habits and blind spots does not need to be a solitary endeavour. Having a support system can provide encouragement, guidance, and accountability. The shared experiences of a community can reinforce the belief that positive change is within reach.

Breaking free from bad habits is a profound exploration of the brain’s plasticity and the interconnected nature of our well-being. The brain’s role in maintaining destructive habits is a testament to its adaptability, but it is this very adaptability that allows us to reshape our neural pathways.

Life Alignment stands as a powerful ally in this transformative journey. By understanding the emotional roots of habits, setting clear intentions, engaging in energy healing, and cultivating mindfulness, we can harness the brain’s plasticity to create positive change. Real-life success stories and practical steps provide inspiration and guidance for those ready to embark on their own paths of self-discovery and personal growth.

Breaking free from bad habits is not only an exercise in rewiring the brain but a journey of reclaiming control and creating a life that aligns with one’s truest self. The brain, with its incredible capacity for change, becomes a partner in this journey, opening the door to a brighter and more fulfilling future.

Vortex Card of the month

Restore Card (Rehabilitation)

This magnetic Vortex card restores balance to an area of choice where there is distortion of the vibrational frequency through injury or illness. It supports relief of symptoms and accelerated healing time. The mechanism of the Restore card is to remove blockages in our subtle energy bodies in order to restore the natural healthy function to the area of pain, discomfort and inflammation.

Together with the Water card, the Restore card has been used to energetically neutralise the chemical components in water. Studies have been done to illustrate the effect of the Water card in combination with the Restore card using chemical analysis. Comparing “before and after samples” showed significant improvements of the water quality in a very short period of time.

Healing Mother Earth

Healing Mother Earth

In these turbulent times, the world faces the challenges of war and conflict.  We seek higher meaning and purpose to make sense of the chaos. With many of our Life Alignment family directly affected, our present focus is on the current Middle East crisis.

We turn our attention towards the healing and nurturing of our planet. Let us delve into the concept of connecting our body’s earth-star chakra to the planet’s earth chakra and how we can contribute to its well-being during these trying times.

Chakras to support Mother Earth

There are two significant chakras we can activate – both off our body.  The Earth-Star Chakra and how it can connect to the planet’s earth chakra.  Even our planet has a chakra system, like our human bodies.

The Earth-Star Chakra can serve as a bridge to higher spiritual realms, helping us gain insights regarding our life’s purpose. It can provide the strength and resilience and contribute positively to the world, even in the face of adversity.

The earth-star Chakra corresponds to body point F23, which we learn about in Module 5 of the Life Alignment training programme.

The Earth-star chakra is located below the feet, just slightly beneath the Earth’s surface. It’s often seen as a complementary chakra to the traditional seven or more chakras in the human energy system.

The Earth Star Chakra is a connection point between our physical body and the energy field of the planet.

Connection with the Planet’s Earth Chakra

The Earth chakra is typically thought of as an energy centre within the Earth itself. It connects the human energy system to the Earth’s energy system via the human’s earth-star chakra.  When the Earth-star chakra is open, it allows for a flow of energy between an individual and the Earth.

Out of Balance Chakras

During times of war and conflict, the Earth Chakra can experience immense strain. The negative energies generated by human suffering, destruction, and fear can disrupt the natural flow of energy within the Earth. This disruption, in turn, affects the overall well-being of our planet and its ability to provide for us.  When the earth chakra is blocked, the following symptoms show up:

  1. Environmental Impact: Wars often result in environmental destruction, including deforestation, pollution, and damage to ecosystems. In the context of the Earth Chakra, this environmental degradation might be seen as a reflection of the damage to the Earth’s energy centres.
  2. Spiritual and Energetic Consequences: including a disconnection between humans and the natural world, leading to a loss of spiritual connection and balance.
  3. Natural Catastrophes: Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and other natural disasters might be viewed as expressions of the Earth’s distress.   We might well see more of these natural disasters as the earth shows its unbalance in this turbulent time. These events – maybe even the floods at your head office, Hermanus – are efforts by the Earth to restore balance.
  4. Disconnection from Nature: a damaged Earth Chakra contributes to a disconnection between humans and the natural world. This disconnection could result in a lack of respect for the environment and a diminished sense of responsibility for Earth’s well-being.

Imbalanced Earth Star Chakra

When this chakra is blocked or unbalanced, we may feel disconnected from nature and the world around us. Symptoms of an imbalanced Earth Star Chakra can include feeling a lack of purpose and having difficulty manifesting one’s desires or goals.

Opened and Activated Chakras

  • We feel more grounded, stable, and connected to our soul light, purpose, and more connected to the planet and to others as a result.
  • We may feel more confident, secure, and at peace with ourselves and our surroundings.
  • We may also feel more in tune with our spiritual path and our connection to the universe.

When your Earth Star Chakra is activated, it will bring you into close communion with the magic, healing, and sacred energy of the Earth.

The Earth Star Chakra is like the grounding point for your aura and subtle energy bodies.

Magical, incredible healing can occur.  One connects not only with one’s own ancestors, but the earth’s ancestral healing can also start.

For example
  1. We diminish feelings of anxiety and fear.
  2. Health issues, both physical and mental, can diminish as we connect more and more to Mother Earth, our health is much more positive.
  3. We feel a connection with our planet with a positive symbiotic relationship existing between us as humans and Mother Earth and Nature.

Activating these Chakras

Practice mindfulness and meditation to connect with the Earth’s energy.

Send love, light, and healing intentions to the Earth through your thoughts and feelings.

Visualize the planet as a vibrant, healthy being.

The easiest way to activate and balance your Earth Star chakra is by simply relaxing and listening to the Earth Star Activation Meditation with Archangel Metatron and Sandalphon.

In practical terms, we can do certain actions:
  1. Global Peace Initiatives: Advocate for peace and conflict resolution. Support organizations and movements dedicated to peaceful solutions, as reducing conflict directly contributes to the Earth’s healing.
  2. Community Support: Strengthen your local community. Building connections and supporting each other during challenging times can help spread positive energy and resilience. Jeff commented on Community in one of his regular chats. Being part of a community like Life Alignment is an integral part of aligning, balancing and opening our chakras and allowing us to connect with Mother Earth’s chakra. Work within your local community to promote sustainability and environmental consciousness. Participate in clean-up events, community gardens, or initiatives to reduce waste.
  3. Of course, using the Earth Card

Vortex Card of the month

Earth Card (Grounding)

The Earth card is used to balance the earth and vegetable kingdoms, which have often been affected by electrical disturbances in the earth and pollutants in the air and on land. The Vortex and Life Alignment concept works with the understanding that the energy field of a human being is connected to the energy field of the earth, of animals, of vegetation, etc.

The Earth card can for example be used to activate the life force of minerals and vegetables. You can witness profound changes in growth and health of many types of vegetation. The mechanism of the Earth card is to infuse the energy field of plants with light and life force, which has been shown to enhance their growth and help them recover from challenges such as moulds, fungus, or mistreatment. Stones, crystals or jewellery can be cleansed of negative energies they have absorbed as a way to re-energise and reactivate them to their original life force.

Geopathic Stress

GEOPATHIC STRESS

What is Geopathic Stress?

Have you ever wondered why plants thrive in some places and right next door they just don’t grow?

Would there be a reason why insect life is prolific on one side of a mountain and yet non-existent on the other? Why can you concentrate when sitting in one location, but battle to focus on that very same task when you change your physical location, even by one room?

Have you ever felt like you’ve tried everything, but certain physical symptoms just don’t go away?  Symptoms such as disrupted sleep, increased stress levels, fatigue, and even chronic health conditions. include headaches, anxiety, and a weakened immune system.  Have you noticed that these symptoms are better in a different geographic location?
When deciding where to have your next holiday, where to live, what house to buy, what mountain to climb, it is interesting to be aware of potential disturbances in the earth’s energy field as some of these disturbances could affect our physical and energetic health. These disturbances to the earth’s energy field can be natural or man-made and has a collective term – Geopathic Stress.
Geopathic stress not only affects us as humans but will affect all living organisms.

What causes the Geopathic Stress?

When we talk about geopathic stress we are relating to any imbalance in the earth from natural sources such as:

  • Underground water veins.  Groundwater may create radiation caused by the friction of water against mineral deposits, as well as geological faults, due to a difference in the electric charge of the masses on each side of the fault generating radiation.
  • Geological fault lines and formations
  • Mineral deposits
  • Changes in the earth’s magnetic fields

These natural phenomena are thought to create disturbances in the Earth’s energy that can affect the health and well-being of those exposed to them.

 Human Causes of Geopathic Stress

In addition to natural sources, geopathic stress can also result from human-made factors such as

  • Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from power lines, electrical appliances, and wireless technology. These EMFs are believed by some to disrupt the natural energy balance of the Earth and can potentially have adverse effects on health.
  • Fracking or mining, so digging deep into the earth’s crust.

How do you detect geopathic stress?

Scientists, geologists or geobiologists will use sensitive instruments which will show any disturbance in the earth’s crust.

  • Geobiological Assessment: Geobiologists are individuals who specialize in assessing and addressing geopathic stress. They use a combination of tools, including dowsing instruments and scientific instruments like electromagnetic field detectors and Geiger counters.

Energy healers including Life Alignment practitioners will use the tools they have in their toolkit to ascertain both the strength and maliciousness of the stress.

  • Intuitive Assessment: Some energy healers rely on their intuition and sensitivity to energy to detect geopathic stress. They may use their hands to scan an environment or a person’s energy field, looking for areas that feel different or disrupted.
  • Dowsing: A common technique used to locate areas of geopathic stress. It involves using tools such as pendulums, dowsing rods, or even a simple twig to detect changes in the energy field. The dowser holds the tool of choice which reacts to the presence of geopathic stress by moving or changing direction.
  • The Vortex Divining rods: are profoundly effective at determining the existence and severity of geopathic stress.
How do you mitigate the effects of the geopathic stress?

We can’t physically change the disturbance in the earth’s crust.  Once it’s made, it’s made.  However, we can change the energy around it through various techniques:

  • Repositioning Furniture: Rearranging furniture or beds to avoid geopathic stress zones is a common strategy.
  • Crystals and Stones: Some energy healers believe that specific crystals and stones can help neutralize or absorb geopathic stress energies. They may place these crystals strategically in affected areas.
  • Energy Balancing: Energy healers may use various energy balancing or clearing techniques, such as Reiki, Feng Shui adjustments, or space clearing rituals, to harmonize the environment and alleviate the perceived negative effects of geopathic stress.
  • Shielding Materials: Some practitioners recommend the use of shielding materials, like special paints or fabrics, to block or redirect geopathic stress energies. (the cell phone card is useful here).
  • Relocation: In extreme cases, if geopathic stress is deemed severe and persistent, energy healers may suggest relocating to a different environment that is considered free from geopathic stress.  This is as a very last resort.
  • Space & Home Alignment: We can align the energy with our own energy.  This would be done at a very deep level in Organisational/Home alignment. These measures can help create a healthier living environment and improve overall well-being.

The Life Alignment Balance of Living Space

When asked personally about how to balance the energy of a house effected by geopathic stress, Jeff Levin replied:” Traditionally with copper rods but we can place a Vortex Card or 2 as needed on the front door, which has been shown to balance the energy of the house including the EMF, negative/ stuck energy from current or previous occupants etc.” Before adding: “Depending on the severity of the geopathic stress, we might add a Vortex Generator”.

Jeff went on to detail that you’ll often find a Benker line that’s negative on the building plan. He spoke of a case where the whole house had negative energies. There were entities in the house and people had been reporting seeing them. This is a good example of geopathic stress manifesting in very tangible ways.

Why is it important to mitigate the effects of geopathic stress?

Proponents of the concept of geopathic stress argue that prolonged exposure to these energy disturbances can lead to a range of health issues. These may include disrupted sleep patterns, increased stress levels, fatigue, headaches, anxiety, weakened immune system, and in some cases, chronic health conditions.

The modality of Home Alignment works efficiently for optimising the home layout, for fostering the selling of a property, for sleeping problems, for miscommunication of the occupants, for work issues, and so much more. However, there is a way bigger picture to it. As per quantum physics: we cannot change anything outside if we don’t change anything inside. Reality reflects our inside. It helps people to shift internally and reflect these changes externally. We work with the floor plan of the client’s space to identify the harmful influences such as geopathic stress and and negative patterns that are blocking the natural flow of Life Force in someone’s home and life.

In Home Alignment we also make use of the Vortex technology. Vortex Cards are magnetic plates holding a magnetic field and are usually placed by the main entrance door but they might be placed on other walls, pipes, corners etc. Any particular card will emit a very specific quantum field of energy that works with specific stressors. Only a few minutes after the cards are placed, the space feels tangible differently. Improving the quality of a place makes its occupants healthier, happier and more creative. Since we are all interconnected this is good for the person, for the community and for the whole planet.

How well known is the concept of Geopathic stress?

Interestingly, the concept of geopathic stress is not new.  This is quite a unique area where ancient wisdom melds well with modern science. Various cultures throughout history have recognized the importance of the Earth’s energies and their impact on human health. In modern times, scientific research is shedding light on the subject, bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and contemporary understanding.

While geopathic stress might not be a household term, it’s essential to consider its potential influence on our lives. Awareness of this phenomenon can empower us to make informed choices about our living spaces and take steps to ensure our environments support our well-being. The knowledge of specific ley lines and whether they are inherently positive or negative could be of great benefit to us as a species and will hopefully become more widespread.

Vortex Card of the month

Rainbow Card (Harmonising)

The Rainbow card works on our homes and workplaces in a similar fashion to how the Personal Protector card works on the body, by harmonising discordant energies for the occupants of the space.

PERSONAL WELL-BEING:

The primary use of the Rainbow card is to balance the human energy field, which then promotes alignment in the physical structure of the body.

EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT:

The Rainbow card also supports the process of balancing the energy field in buildings. It promotes a frequency that helps to harmonise the atmosphere of a house or office from potential harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation, geopathic stress, Feng Shui imbalances, and even toxic energies. Many users experience this effect as a noticeable change in ambience that is imbued with more peace, vitality, lightness, clarity, freshness, and well-being.

Projections

Anyone who deals with their own emotional world will sooner or later come across the concept of projection. It originally comes from psychoanalysis. Within the framework of this theory, projection is a defence mechanism.

If feelings, thoughts, desires, or character traits arise that frighten us, it can happen that a defence mechanism comes into play: Because it would be too uncomfortable to own these thoughts or feelings, we unconsciously project them onto someone else.

Jason, what does the topic “Projections” mean to you personally?

Understanding projections allowed me to understand my fear of external relationships much better and thus served as a doorway to become the practitioner and teacher that I am today.

I really only understood the topic of projections somewhere in my mid 20’s, while I was studying another modality called Psychophonetics. This taught me a range of therapeutic tools to help a client get into their inner world – allowing them to see what is really going on when we react to certain situations. This was such an eye opener for me and my own challenges in social environments. It confirmed that my thoughts, feelings and reactions when I met certain types of people, were not coming from my authentic Self. What really happened is that I was encountering what I expected/projected to happen, because of similar experiences coming from my past.

For the first time I got in touch with my own, usually suppressed, shadow-self and the vulnerable boy within that was scared to be around other people. Additionally, understanding projections helped me see other people much better. I began to see them not as a threat anymore, but as people struggling with their own inner stories which had nothing to do with me.

A message I give to all my clients: Hardly anything people do is actually about you. Really holding on to this knowledge frees you from constantly trying to see the subtext in every encounter.

Thank you for sharing this, I am sure we can all relate to it. In your words, what are “Projections”?

Projections are actually quite a wide topic, but simply put, they are the filters we see the world through. They are unconscious expectations and beliefs regarding the outside world, often based on past experiences – childhood patterns, past lives, and key encounters.

We all have projections. However, we are not always aware of them.  Projections are constantly gathered through our experiences and expectations of Self and others, our insecurities, our beliefs, our fears and our joys. Projections are happening on autopilot. The more we practise to understand our reactions to certain people’s behaviour, rather than trying to understand their motivations, the greater our chance to catch our own projections. This is how we learn to respond to situations rather than reacting to them.

That’s why I am so passionate about self-development and the modality of Life Alignment. It enables us to look at our thoughts, emotions and actions that are causing discomfort and chaos in our lives and helps to identify if projections are initiating them.

Projections are happening all the time. They exist in all our personal beliefs about our life roles in business and personal relationships. On top of it other people project their expectations and stories onto us about those same roles. Can you see how diluted and subjective this can get? For instance, there will be projections between a husband and wife as to their roles in the relationship. There are projections between friends, depending on what they expect from their relationship with each other. Do we not all know examples such as a friend calling you saying they can’t come over tonight, because they are exhausted from work?  This could easily trigger old wounds from childhood, around abandonment, betrayal and a sense of low self-worth. Something the friend had no intention of triggering, they were simply (and rightfully so) thinking of their own needs: Too tired to come over.

Why do we often experience the same triggers/ projections over and over again?

Dealing with trigger systems is more like a journey, than a quick fix. Triggers, to a degree, become habitual. There is a need to keep reminding the inner-child that it is safe.  The critic or other guard system that is unconsciously called into play, must be reminded about their new, conscious responses to familiar situations rather than the previous habitual responses.

Are projections only a negative thing?

Projections are our subjective truth. None of us see the world in exactly the same way – how could we? From the point of view of the therapist, we only deal with the negative aspects of projections, the parts that come from old wounds that still have an energetic charge. But there are usually positive projections working reasonably well in our lives, until they don’t. For example, in a loving relationship we see things through the filter of love, and it is quite common for each party to struggle to see the other as ‘bad’ in any way. This will serve the relationship for a while, until something happens that shatters that illusion. Then the couple are left with a choice, to accept the truth of their relationship or move on.

Another example of a positive projection often happens between a client and therapist, as the client gives themselves over to the expected expertise of the therapist, which in turn allows the therapist to deeply explore the inner-world of the client, and help where they can.

Some projections can be consciously agreed to between partners. Which in normal therapy is no longer called a projection, it becomes a contract. But that contract is essentially a projection, an expectation that is projected onto the other. Such as the expectation that the other person will ‘always have my back’, which both parties can work hard to support, and will potentially develop into a support system for both of them.

How do projections affect our global community, the current world?

Mostly we see the result of toxic projections when we interact with the outside world. We usually see it in hindsight when we have an unexplained angry reaction with others, or someone else has a similar unexplained reaction with us, and we are left wondering what happened.

I often think that I can see it in political situations, local and global. I think that it is evident in all aspects of community life. Between neighbours and colleagues, between friends and enemies. As long as there are humans interacting with each other, there are expectations, conscious and unconscious at play. Some of those projections will serve the relationship and others will not.

For instance, historically there has been a global projection from older times that our leaders have our best interests at heart, particularly those that we have voted into power. A projection that has served governments, more than the common person, and a projection that I see crumbling everywhere nowadays, as people are waking to the fact that our leaders are more interested in their own vested interests than the needs of the common person who voted for them.

In fact, we are living in a time where projections play a big part in our modern society. Movements like the ‘Black lives matter’ movement are coming from a very wounded place. This does not mean that their pain isn’t valid, but it does mean they see things through a very particular filter. And any filter will distort the truth.

The pandemic that we all just went through is another great example of modern projections, it brought up lots of projections around safety, trust, leadership etc.

You mentioned Life Alignment as a suitable tool to work with projections earlier. What does Life Alignment do in this case?

Life Alignment is an amazing tool to bypass the conscious and unconscious projections that play out in our relationships. We use the ‘Questions during balancing’ list, which side steps the conventional step by step ideas of therapy around projections. And can quickly transport the client out of their personal drama, into a space where they are able to observe their reactions – such as frustration or anger. It creates a safe space to get in touch with the inner realm thus creating a place for inner and outer healing as well as cleaning the lenses we use to investigate the world.

For example, the question ‘Change polarity’ gets our clients to see things from another point of view, rather than be locked into their own perspective. Also, less obvious questions like, ‘Connection with Higher Self, deceased person, guide, teacher, diva, animal guide etc’ I have found immensely useful when working with clients who are struggling to step out of their projections. For a profound moment, they can see things from a higher, more neutral point of view. A Life Alignment session has a sustainable effect on the client because it works with the autonomic nervous system. What might have triggered our sympathetic nervous system and put us in fight and flight, can be reconnected to the parasympathetic parts of our nervous system. This is the difference I was mentioning earlier between reacting and responding. The LA Balance reintroduces a healthier alternative to a restricted reality.

Archetypes are coming up in some LA sessions. Is this relevant?

Yes. When we use the archetype list in Life Alignment, whether it be to address an archetype that no longer serves us or an archetype that we need to invoke or use in some way, we automatically engage the client’s projections, as they project their own understanding of that aspect into the archetype. This can also be another example of a positive projection, as the client may need to aspire to their understanding of that particular archetype.

What can I do at home to work with my projections?

Understanding projections is just the first step in your healing journey. Afterwards there is usually still a need to accept your shadows (the suspected and known darkness that dwells in all of us) and move from unconsciously reacting when you are triggered to consciously responding.

Start by practising to catch yourself when you react badly to others. Which, in the beginning, you will have to do in a safe place where you are not feeling threatened, such as at home, in a conversation with a trusted person or in cooperation with a LA practitioner. The more you practise catching your reactions, the quicker you will get control over your projection, rather than letting them control you. Eventually you will begin catching yourself during a confrontation, and eventually you will not react to triggers at all. The Presence Vortex Card helps with centring and grounding and is very useful in this context.

By viewing the other who you might initially blame for the confrontation (And by no means is this saying that the other does not deserve any blame) you can see what that has triggered within you. Now you can make a new choice about it – a new conscious response rather than your unconscious reaction. A deeper understanding and acceptance of your shadow-self leads to a compassionate acceptance of the shadows of others. This does not mean condoning atrocious acts performed by others, but it does lead to lessening the unnecessary charge, allowing you to see the other more clearly.

When you get home after an encounter where you feel like you could have handled yourself better, spend some time reviewing what happened. Be honest with yourself. What was the reaction protecting? What else did you expect? What else was at play during the encounter? What did that vulnerable part actually need to be protected? Is there maybe something else that needs to be understood, loved or heard? Questions like these will lead you to see what you truthfully need to do and understand. In doing so you are moving from reacting to responding.

How Does Life Alignment work?

CHRISTINE HARDY – Advanced Practitioner and teacher of Life Alignment in South Africa and online all over the world, how do you explain what Life Alignment is and how it works?

I remember only too well when I came home full of enthusiasm from attending the first module of Life Alignment in 2003. I proudly showed my husband my new tool…. the pendulum.

My husband enquired how does that pendulum work? I demonstrated by showing him how the pendulum would swing clockwise or anti clockwise when asking a question which would indicate a yes or no response. You are swinging it yourself he exclaimed!  I said something along the lines of, no I’m not, look what happens when you hold the pendulum still over your hand. It moves by itself because you have an energy centre there. You try it I insisted. I then went on to demonstrate to him that you can find body points and emotions from a chart. I am not joking when I say my scientific husband was indeed very sceptical. His comment was, well I’m sure you can make up any number of stories with a few words. His advice to me was, if you want to do this you had better learn how to explain it properly. I assured him in time I would.

How did you begin the journey of talking about Life Alignment and energy healing?

Merle Westcot was my teacher so by the time I had qualified with Module 2 in January 2004 I knew I had to get out there and tell people about this amazing healing modality. I asked Merle if I could watch her talk to a group of people, she was introducing L.A to. I took notes and thought I needed to go home and practice a pitch using my own words. Its much easier than trying to remember word for word what someone else has said.

I started by writing articles for a local community newspaper. Initially I found it difficult to write in a way that flowed. I would put my thoughts down and then I’d have to rearrange paragraphs and sentences which seemed to take hours.  My weekly articles were published until I ran out of things to write about because of my limited knowledge.

I set about reading as many books as I could get my hands on to understand vibrational medicine in more depth. I took loads of notes on things that stood out for me that I could relate to. My first public chat and demonstration was at the Body and mind fare in Durban South Africa. Oh my gosh, I was so nervous I couldn’t breathe. I was told take a few deep breaths and then I was literally shoved to the front of a large audience. Once I started talking my nerves eased and I was rewarded when a keynote speaker and presenter congratulated me on my presentation.

When I became a teacher of Life Alignment in 2006, I would advertise regularly in our national healing magazine Odyssey and on the South African Body and Mind website. Mostly clients were referred via word-of-mouth, however, I would pick up some new students that wanted to attend a workshop from advertising.

I volunteered to speak at our first International L.A conference in Cape Town in 2015 many years later.

Believe in yourself and shine your own light in your unique way.

What I have learnt over the years is that when you put yourself out there in the spotlight the most unexpected things can happen. I was approached by a Spiritual T.V company to request filming me in an interview and doing a balance on the interviewer. My home had film crew setting the scene for the production. It was great fun but unfortunately another long-standing well-known healer was their choice for their show. Over the years I have been invited as a guest on numerous radio interviews. In addition to being on the Life Alignment website I have my own website. My dream going forward is to be an invited guest as a practicing therapist to luxury healing retreats. I have my first one coming up next year In Thailand which I am very excited about.

If I hadn’t shined my light and faced the fears and tasks of showing up, then I wouldn’t have built any noteworthy credibility and of course my husband was my biggest supporter.

The most recent interview was with Wolfgang Sonnenburg who has his own British Health radio broadcast.   Here is the link: https://christinehardylifealignment.co.za/gallery/

Wolfgang Sonnenburg will be interviewing Dr Jeff Levin on Organizational Alignment, which is very exciting, and all helps to show case our incredible healing modality to the world.

Here are some tips I recommend getting started on building your confidence.

  1. Feel your passion for L.A and let it shine through with matched enthusiasm when you talk to anyone. Even if its just one person.
  1. Writing helps you to speak and articulate clearly.
  1. Read out what you write and record yourself.
  1. Next step is to memorise as much as possible and keep recording until it flows with ease.
  1. Keep it simple in words that you would usually use, it makes it much easier to memorize.
  1. Remember most importantly you are showing up for yourself so work on self-doubt.
  1. Visualize success and have a vision of what you want to achieve.
  1. Create a mission statement.
  1. When you are in the spotlight be your unique authentic self.
  1. Use the trust card and surround yourself with the activators when practicing and presenting.
  1. Every day take actions towards your goals, be consistent.
  1. Try doing a podcast on subjects that interest you.
  1. Become a teacher of L.A

Wishing you much joy and success on your L.A journey.

Love and Blessings

Organisational Alignment

How do you enable employees or yourself to be not only productive, but loyal? Engaged, but not stressed out? Collaborative and communicative, but also focused and assertive? How do you keep the vision and motivation for your business or project? When is it time to implement change and when to be brave and courageous? In the new always-on culture of work, stress continues to grow, and it’s not just the body that needs a shift, but an Organisation as well.

In this month’s newsletter I am talking to Chris Carr, Business Mentor & Life- and Organisation Alignment Practitioner based in the Isle of Wight, about new ways to consult companies to support both their employees and their business goals – with the modality of Organisation Alignment. Organisation Alignment helps business owners of all kinds to be on track with the accelerating changes in the world. This can result in greater strategic thinking, planning and proactiveness rather than a reactive stance – leading to more freedom and empowerment in accomplishing goals for the highest good.

Chris, why are you so passionate about Organisation Alignment (OA)?

I had seen what difference Life Alignment (LA) had made to my wife’s life – Lynne Carr – and to the lives of her clients. I wanted to learn more about it and went to a couple of Jeff Levin’s Open Workshops. I have always been very ‘left’ brained and very sceptical about things I couldn’t see and measure. However repeatedly I began to see tangible and efficient improvements when using the tools of Life Alignment. These tools are always looking at the root cause and energetic relation to a presented issue, whether in a relationship, family or a business environment. I got curious and had to understand more. It was during the many case studies that were required to become a LA practitioner that my ‘connection’ with “universal guidance” grew and this increased confidence in letting go of my logical brain at times and trusting in the dimensions I couldn’t see or measure. I experienced working on the causal level of a presented situation yet seeing visible, physical change.

Life Alignment tools such as the Tree of Life or Circle sequences are incredibly effective for deep exploration of personal vision. Organisation Alignment takes it one step further and allows for efficient exploration of a business vision and how an organisation can make a positive difference. Exactly what I needed to complement my work as Business Mentor. It is a natural progression from Life Alignment to Organisation Alignment, treating the different functions of an organisation in much the same way as the parts of a body.

“Organisation Alignment looks at a business as an inseparable and interconnected whole, taking into consideration all its dimensions and elements. This is a very effective, new approach to help companies and projects move successfully into the future, and as a means of discovering where increased flow is needed.”

Would you say Organisational Alignment became more current now than when Jeff introduced it in 2008?

Right now, communities – whether big business, non-profit organisations, government departments, one man shows and even sports/leisure clubs are in a new era of less personal contact with colleagues and clients and more virtual contact. This was a growing trend with the onset of faster and more available internet speeds, but the recent pandemic really entrenched this virtual community model. This has opened up new ways of collaborations, communications and connections, especially in the business world.

I have been a Business Mentor for decades and am used to guiding business owners and their teams towards personal and monetary success. However, there is not one single solution for all. Change is very individual and can be a very sensitive matter. The entire world is in radical transformation right now. I believe that the OA process creates a very safe space for all kinds of transformation.

The fundamental method of identifying the Vision and how the individual, the business, the charity or the relationship can make a positive difference in the world is important for us all and for the planet. With OA, the alignment to this Vision from all who touch the business, the staff, the clients, the suppliers, the contractors, the investors, the advisors means that Life Alignment can ‘touch’ so many more people than is possible with just an individual balance.

When is a good moment to introduce OA to a business, team or project?

For startups it should be from the moment that the idea is formed, even when the entrepreneur is still in his previous job. For other businesses, anytime is a good time, but particularly when there is a change of process, or location. People are often a bit scared by change, but OA creates a safe space to help individuals align to the Vision and equally importantly identify manifestations, modalities and clear blockages.

It is also important to carry out a Home Alignment clearing geopathic stress, electromagnetic radiation and energetic stress. Even people with no understanding of Energy Healing can sense when a place ‘feels’ good or ‘feels’ bad as soon as they walk into a room.

Do you have examples/ best practice?

I tend to work with small businesses and startups. In some cases, working with an individual who is in a well-paid job, but wants more from life and to run his own business. I will give you two examples.

1.    A successful project manager of an advertising agency was unfulfilled in building other people’s brands and then moving on to the next project. OA helped the process to successfully leave the previous company without bad feeling and then starting the new venture. His Vision was to create a drinks brand that ‘people could drink, when they are not drinking.’ And after many weeks of iterations the Vision was simply ‘The Art of Nature’. This was developed in the first non-alcoholic spirit brand (Seedlip) which 5 years later is still market leader but also resulted in many copycats and I believe has resulted in people seen drinking 0% Alc Beers, Wines and Spirits completely acceptable – what a gift to the World.

2.    A very similar case for a Landscape Architect in Dubai, who wanted to break out on his own from a large practice. His Vision was to ‘Transform Lifestyles through Connection with Nature’. Whilst only 3 years old WILDEN DESIGN is growing fast and our objective is to transform 10,000 gardens by the end of 2025, through a franchising model across all continents.

I believe best practice is when there are weekly catch ups, never just waiting for issues to be solved. The successful clients don’t just connect when there are challenges, it becomes part of the daily running just as much as when things are going well and going badly.

What is the timeframe for an OA transformation?

It can take 1 to 2 months to fully align with the Vision, but the process of identifying the internal and external organograms, which lead onto identifying the priority areas or customers can run concurrently and it is often during this period that the Vision gets refined. It is sometimes helpful to do ‘mini’ OAs on particular projects. I believe it is a continual process and I don’t feel an OA is ever complete, which is why it is such an important process to have in my toolkit.

What is the difference between OA and conventional Business Consulting? Does it work together?

OA is the connection with subtle energy and universal, often unconscious, guidance. Conventional Business Consulting is a very conscious approach. And yes, they work beautifully together. I always clearly differentiate between the two and say, ‘let’s see how the Universe will guide us now’, so the client always knows when it is conventional and when from a higher dimension.

Thank you, Chris for this insightful peek into a very effective Life Alignment Modality.
